the ash haired boy was heading to the theatre hall, humming softly to a melody that was stuck in his mind.

jisung was excited for the drama club session as he got to spend time with his friends again. even though they were all chaotic, loud crackheads, they were his favorites.

on his way to the theatre hall, the freshman noticed another boy who kept on walking forth and back while wearing confusion on his face. his brows were furrowed while his eyes displayed despair.

jisung frowned at that sight, feeling a bit irritated when he witnessed that. he assumed that the student was probably searching for something.

"should i ask him if he needs any help? ... oh my god, i need to be social for this", jisung thought to himself, debating whether to take this step for not.

his eyes shifted back to the unknown boy who continued to walk around with the same gaze as before.

jisung pondered for a moment, nonetheless, he wanted to help out - especially when he knew how it felt like to be lost in a building.

the ash haired boy decided to step out of his comfort zone even though he was socially anxious and awkward.

the freshman took a deep breath for a moment before approaching the unknown boy. he tapped gently his shoulder, resulting in the stranger turning around with a surprised face.

"hi! you seem... a bit confused? do you need anything?", jisung asked him softly and put on a little smile, hoping that he didn't offend him in any way.

the boy with dirty blonde hair flashed him a lovely smile as relief washed over his face.

"hello! i'm new here and i'm not quite familiar with everything here...", the unknown male explained gently, scratching the back of his head.

"do you know where the gaming club is?", the latter asked friendly, his eyes softening at the question.

jisung's face beamed at the mention of the gaming club as he recalled the memories of originally wanting to join it since he loved gaming.

"yeah, i can lead you there!", the freshman responded happily and was surprised that he offered such a thing, that he talked and spent time with a total stranger.

"i know that our high school can be a bit confusing... been there, done that", jisung admitted sheepishly, putting his hand on his neck in embarrassment. at least he knew that his best friend is going to be proud of him for being that sociable.

the unknown boy cracked a smile at his comment, resonating with his statement. "i totally feel you", he chimed in, chuckling, making jisung feel less awkward.

"and thanks a lot for your help!", the blond haired stranger added joyfully, cherishing his offer. the freshman gave him a smile before leading the way.

jisung escorted him to the room where the gaming club was assembled. however, the ash haired boy felt awkward while heading there.

although jisung did more social things than normal, he didn't know how to start small talk. he struggled to open up conversations, particularly with people he wasn't familiar with.

fortunately, the unknown one did.

"what's your name?", the dirty blonde haired boy asked him randomly, glancing curiously at him.

"i'm jisung", the freshman introduced himself with a shy smile, "and yours?"

"nice to meet you, jisung. i'm shotaro!", he responded excitedly, smiling widely once again. jisung noticed that he was quite happy and joyful - something he wished he was in school.
