"hm? what did you say?", renjun hummed and observed the purple haired boy who was spacing off and staring into a direction.
"hello? hyuck?", jeno tried to gain donghyuck's attention with no success.
"i got this, guys", jaemin grinned before clearing his throat.
"hyuck, look! beyoncé is standing here!", the pink haired guy mentioned, grabbing immediately donghyuck's attention.
"WHAT? WHERE?", the purple haired guy questioned right away and looked hurriedly to his left and right.
everyone chuckled because of the confused boy. "no beyoncé? damn, don't play with my feelings. i'm sad now", donghyuck sighed dramatically and pouted.
"anyways, what did you say earlier?", renjun attempted to ask for the second time, glancing at the younger boy.
"i thought i saw sooyun", hyuck answered bitterly. "but i think it wasn't her, i guess", his voice sounded disappointed, making jaemin and jeno worried about their best friend while the others looked at him in confusion.
"who's seojun? wait, do you mean seojun from true beauty??", chenle asked confusedly.
"no, chenle. it's sooyun. the girl who told hyuck that she wants to join the drama club but hasn't even read his messages", jaemin answered and heard how disappointed the younger chinese was.
"oh man, i got excited for nothing."
"would you mind telling us who that sooyun girl is?", yangyang inquired curiously. "it's a girl who wanted to participate in our club and told donghyuck that she will text him. however, she ghosts him and hasn't replied to him yet", jeno explained.
"oh damn...", yangyang responded pitifully, looking at his purple haired friend.
"that's fine, bros", hyuck claimed and gave his friends a warm smile. "not my problem if she doesn't contact me", he shrugged his shoulders.
"wanna hit the arcade before going home?", he suggested and everyone agreed immediately. the group headed towards the arcade and were looking forward to playing games.
even though donghyuck pretended that the whole sooyun thing doesn't bother him, it still hurts him that she ghosted him and possibly avoided him on purpose. he wondered if he had done something wrong.
