Codys perspective.
The German team helped rescue us from the roof that night and we returned home. Many people sought sanctuary at the estate, there was even people in tents on our yard.
No matter what I did or thought, I couldn't help but stare at Lucifer's wing.
My body trembled from that moment.
I slid within Lucifers hold as he cradle me close to him, covering my body with his right wing. Next his body collided into mine, knocking the wind out of me.
A sickening crunch followed by a snap, silenced everything. My eyes widened when his right wing suddenly disappeared revealing Nicholas's smiling face.
'No...' I watched as Lucifer screamed before falling limp. My eyes widened as his hold loosened on me. Nicholas's blue eyes fell upon me.
"D-" I mumbled... "Danté..h-help." I watched as the white demons eyes widen when Lucifer began to move. A long feral growl shook my bones as he started to sit up, standing on shaky feet.
An aura so strong filled the air and I found it hard to breath. Something inside me moved, something I didn't understand. It scared me but not as much as Lucifer. His mouth had jagged teeth, saliva dripping from his chin. His eyes were deep crimson, black specks on the inside.
He looked at me and growled, unconsciously I crawled backwards in fear.
I remembered when he just suddenly collapsed. I feared that he died, but here he is, picking on Lucas.
"Cody!!" I turned to see daisy running at me but she jumped and I tried to catch her. Which I failed miserably at. We both ended falling down on the ground. Her on top of me.
A blush etched itself on my face, "are you hurt any where Daisy?" I asked her and she hugged me tightly.
"No, Lucas made sure that nothing happened to me." I went to move but she didn't move. Instead I felt her body shake, tears falling down the side of my neck.
Devens perspective
I walked over to where the young master was, hugging his friend. I was growing more worried when she started to cry.
"Young master is everything ok?" he nodded. I knelt next to the two extending my hand. "Miss Daisy. you've had a long and stressful day. How about we let you rest for awhile?" She looked at me with puffy eyes and nodded. I took her hand and led her to one of the spare rooms we had for guest. As soon as she hit the bed, she fell asleep almost instantly.
I walked back down the stairs where both teams were resting and chatting to each other. I smiled, 'it seems as though the young masters wish is coming true.'
"Deven." I turned where Lucas was beckoning me to follow, and I did.
There was Lucifer sitting on the bed, holding his right side. My eyes widened when I finally noticed he was missing his right wing.
"What happened?" I breathed in amazement.
"Nicholas got me." Lucifer growled out in defeat. 'Damn him.'
I looked over to Lucas but found that he was zoning out.
Lucas perspective:
'That power surge I felt. It wasn't Nicholas's was it?' I unconsciously looked over to the one winged demon. 'Could it be?'
"He was after your little human." he said suddenly as if it were an afterthought. I walked over to him and grabbed his wing ferociously, "why didn't you tell me that sooner!" I yelled his demon eyes glared at me.
