"Cody, will you not aid your countries freedom?" The president of Japan asked clasping his hands together pleadingly. The Chief of Military sat beside him with arms crossed. 'He looked like he's gone through the meat grinder.'
"Absolutely not!" I growled. "I will not sell a single one of them nor will I ever abandon them." I stated.
Deven seemed to be on edge. It was only us four in our dinner room. The long table was decorated with a variety of expensive food and fine wines.
"Cody Anderson, you have an obligation to this country. People are dying! Those who have children and a family. These creatures have no family. They live forever and feel no pain. They are Gods precious creatures after all." The military man snapped.
Evil thoughts crossed my mind. Some of which was grabbing Deven's gun and shooting this foolish person right between the eyes.
"What do you know? Have you helped birth an angel's child? Have you nursed the broken and sick, I think not. If you think that you will take them then youre sorely mistaken! You will have to kill me before you lay a hand upon my family!" I growled as Deven cleared his throat in nervousness.
I knew what he was thinking, 'you stupid idiotic child! how could you speak to the president like that!?!?'
The president sighed, "then I assume that you will not release the entire TAI team?" (TAI team now consist of a few hundred demon and angels. They don't compete anymore but that part as stand ins and whatnot.)
I nodded my head.
"then that's a shame. I had high hopes for you. But it seems as though I'll have to use force." Just as he finished his sentence the widows shattered as military people stormed my home. Deven stood, pulling his gun but halted when the president smiled his way. "You are here by under arrest for the suspicion of being a traitor of Japan." He commanded, getting up with the Chief of Military.
People came from behind Deven and I, cuffing our wrist. We didn't put up a fight because they could hurt others if we resisted the government. "I'm not even Japanses." I muttered as we were shoved into the main room. Deven laughed as his guns were removed from his holsters.
The Holy Courtroom in Heaven.
Danté stood within the Holy Counsel of Arc angels in the center of Heaven.
"Dantè, you helped with the murder of the 2nd God. What do you have to say for yourself." One of the female Arc Angels questioned.
"First, he isn't a God anymore. He's betrayed the Commandments and he has been condemned."
There were angry whispers filling the bright golden room. "And who exactly gave such a punishment? Who has that type of power!?" the council was on edge. They feared that such a being was a threat to Heaven as did the Demon King.
"Baltazar. The 8th Arc Angel created by myself and your precious God." Dantè growled out. "He was created as an experiment, but I've come to the conclusion that He wanted to use him to rule earth and the mortals."
The room was quiet. As expected. The highest of angels, never would've thought about their leader betraying the Great God, or attacking earth.
"What proof do you have that he is to take over earth." A male asked, probably Raphael.
"I have no proof but the half breed that is held prisoner here. You must release him soon. If you do not, then all of Heaven will be destroyed."
"What makes you say that demon!"
Dantè stood taller, "because, when I created him, I gave Baltazar the power to destroy even God-"
"So it was you that really murdered-"
"You're wrong! I made it to where he'll only obey the third God (Cody) and he must also follow the Commandments. He is the ultimate protector of both Heaven and Earth. He will even protect Heaven from itself." Danté glared at the Arc Angels. "but at this rate. He will kill everything in his sights. I made him so that he can never stay far from his brother, or in this case, the next God. It's been 6 years and all this hate and anger has built to the point where not even the Heavenly army and Hell's army could stop him if we were to join forces."
The room fell into silence.
"I pray that if his name is to be said.... That nothing bad is to happen to the boy."
"Why do you say that, Danté." Uriel questioned.
"If anything is to happen to his brother, then I fear-"
Heaven shook making everyone cry out in surprise.
"What was that!?"
All the Arc Angels and Danté jumped from the shadows and flew out of the government building and into the Garden of Eden. When they arrived everyone was shocked.
The cell which held the half breed, was cracking. "I fear that something bad is happening."
Deven's perspective
The Japanese police drag the young master and I out of our house and cuffed our wrist- throwing us into a police car without a care in the world.
I watched as Cody struggled with his cuffis, kicking at the seats and thrashing about in a fit of desperate rage. "Young master!" I snapped making him halt his actions. "There is nothing we can do at this moment. If we were to fight now, they'll possible hurt them- and I know that is something that you do not want."
The boy sighed, his gaze faltering to the floor of the car. "It's just. I made a promise to each and everyone of them that nothing would happen to them." when Cody said that he looked as though he was stabbed a million times. The look of failure on his face didn't suite him.
"Deven, I wish Lucas was here. I know that he would be able to protect everyone." I watched as the boy who isn't even an adult yet, crumble before me- he watched with saddened eyes when the police began to drag the angels and demons out of the house.
'Lucas you bastard, you're always late when trying to save someone. Just please don't let it happen to Cody.'
Cody's perspective.
I watched in horror as the Japanese police bonded the angels and demons wings, preventing them from flying while they dragged them into a trailer.
'After all that work, those 6 years, and I still can't hold onto the ones I love. Again I will be ripped apart from what I hold dear. '
I turned away from the window, the screams and shouts becoming unbearable.
"Lucas." I gritted my teeth in anger.
In Heaven.
The Arc Angels stumbled as the powerful tremor shook Eden. "Was that the half breeds power?" Micheal asked, his golden armor rattling along with the ground.
The Demon King looked at the prison that held Baltazar, his eyes widened in shock. The half breed was moving his pitch black wings against the cells walls, trying to break the glass which held him.
Cracks began to form on the cell's glass. Arc Angels pulled their weapons out, ready for when the half breed'll attack.
The Demon King walked closer to the cell, receiving angry protest from the higher angels but he ignored it.
"My friend. Fear not, for your brother will be safe down upon Earth. Remember that you entrusted him to your companions. So do not go into a rage here in Heaven. Remember, that the Arc Angels are still deciding your fate." The Demon Lord whispered and everything stopped. The tremors, the cracking, everything ceased and everything grew silent.
"Do you see now? Holding him here will only start a war."
The angels lowered their weapons, "I believe that we should pay a visit to the boy." Gabriel, the leader, ordered.
