"I forgot that you existed, it isn't love, it isn't hate, it's just indifference"
I held tightly on my wooden sword as Aegon and I walked in a circle, staring at one another. Neither of us had made the first move as Ser Criston watched us.
"Scared?" I asked.
"Of you?" Aegon said. "Of course, darling."
I kept my smile from creeping up as I lunged froward, Aegon instantly blocking my advances. He tried to catch me off guard as I swept my feet underneath his, sending him to the ground.
"Every. Single. Time" he said.
I held my hand out for him to take.
"And every single time you fall for it" I said.
He grabbed my hand as I helped him up.
"It's sad if you're getting beat by a girl" I said.
"I second that, Princess" Ser Criston said.
"Thank you, Ser Criston" I said.
My smile faltered when Ser Harrold appeared.
"Princess Visenya, it appears your presence is needed in the chambers of your young sister" he said.
"Which one?" I asked.
He slightly tilted his head as I nodded.
"Vaella" I sighed.
I threw my wooden sword to Aegon as he barely caught it. I walked side by side with Ser Harrold back into the castle.
"What happened now?" I asked.
"She wishes the matter be discreet" he said.
We got to Vaella's' chambers as I slowly opened the door. I found her on the floor by her bed, cradling herself. I ran to her, kneeling beside her.
"Are you hurt?" I asked.
"I can see it" she whispered.
"See what?" I asked.
I looked around her room to find it empty. I grabbed her face to look at me.
"Blood" she whispered.
Vaella sometimes talked about things before they even happened. She only talked about them in bits and pieces. Normally she saw them in dreams, it was rare for her to see them while awake.
"Blood where? Who's blood?" I asked.
"Aemonds" she said. "Mine. I see it everywhere."
I brushed her hair out of her face before standing up. I grabbed her hands to lift her up to eye level. I put my hands on her cheeks, smooshing her face.
"Pretty girl" I whispered. "Now, I think you should get some rest before we leave."
"I don't want to go" she said.
"We have been over this, you need to meet him" I said. "You two might be betrothed."
"It's cold there" she said.
"Well, yes.. Winterfell is in the North, it's going to be cold" I said.
"I don't want to marry him" she said.
"You haven't even met him" I said.
She looked at me with her big lavender eyes.
"Fine" I said, giving in. "I will go alone to meet him. A change of scenery is much needed."
