"Hold on to the memories, they will hold on to you"

I walked down the halls of the castle I had been in for the past few days. Highgarden was truly as beautiful as my father had described. It was filled with flowers everywhere, the scents bringing a smile to my face anytime I stepped out of my quarters.

Both of my grandfathers had agreed on a tourney being held in honor of Baelon and Viserys' fourth name days. Due to my grandfather, the Kings health, he stayed in Kings Landing while the rest of my family had came with Aegon and I to Highgarden.

"Did you need anything, Your Grace?" A servant asked.

"I am not your queen yet, you do not need to greet me with 'Your Grace' anytime you speak to me" I said.

I had been repeating myself over and over again as every single one of the servants refused to call me by anything other than 'Your Grace'. It was beginning to be frustrating but at the same time I was flattered. Each day going by was a step closer to becoming queen.

Thinking about it made my stomach cramp, but the cramps may be caused by the stress of going through an outrageously painful pregnancy. I took deep breaths as the servant ushered me back to my quarters. I laid down as Aegon walked in only a short few minutes later.

"My love" he whispered.

"I'm fine" I said.

"You don't look fine" he said.

I closed my eyes to focus on my breathing as I listened to Aegon pace back and forth.

"Stop moving!" I said.

I heard multiple footsteps, my eyes popping open when I heard giggling. A smile formed on my lips as Baelon and Viserys ran towards Aegon. He picked up Baelon as Viserys came to my bedside.

"Are you okay, mummy?" He asked.

I nodded as he climbed onto the bed. I laughed as he laid by my side, fluttering his eyelashes at me. I moved his hair to kiss his forehead. Dyana had ran in looking flustered when she noticed the boys.

"I'm sorry, Princess, t-they just ran off" she said.

"It's quite alright" I said. "I hear I was the same way when I was their age."

Viserys snuggled beside me before putting his head to my stomach.

"I can hear him" he whispered.

"Oh, yeah? How are you so sure it is a boy?" I asked.

My smile was slowly falling when I looked at the concentration in his young face. He looked as if he was actually listening for something. His nose wrinkled, eyes began twitching when I looked at Aegon who noticed the same thing.

"It's a boy" he whispered, again.

"Dyana, please take Baelon" I said.

"Not both boys, Princess?" She asked.

"Just Baelon" I said.

I put my hand over Viserys' head as he sat up.

"When you look at me.. what do you see, sweet boy?" I asked.

"Fire" he said.

I looked at Aegon, smiling at the revelation. Neither boys had shown any sign of magic until now. I had given up hope that either of them shared my power.

"The tourney must be called off" I said.

I picked up Viserys, walking out of the room as Aegon called after me.

"He needs to start his training!" I said.

I got to my grandfathers chambers, bursting in before setting Viserys down.

"He has magic" I said.

My grandfather and my mothers youngest sister, Lorna both looked at him before smiling. I sat beside Lorna as my grandfather took Viserys.

"You remind me so very much of my sister" she said.

"I get that a lot" I said.

"I loved her dearly.. when we heard of Vaella's death... it broke all of our hearts" she said. "At least now she is with Wanda."

I stayed silent, realizing it had been such a long time since I thought of Vaella. I could never forget her but after grieve comes acceptance. I didn't accept her death as it was but I accepted she was gone and I would never see her again.

"We also heard of the death of Princess Rhaenyra's son" she said.

"Terrible incident" I said.

"You do not need to be so coy with me" she said. "We support the rightful heir to the Iron Throne.. not some usurper who holds no loyalty to even her own family."

"She will start a war.. at least try to" I said.

"Anyone willing to aid to her cause when the King dies has a death wish" she said. "Everyone knows what happened the last time a Targaryen tried to fight a Maximoff.. Aegon the Conquerer almost met his own demise."

I looked at her as she put her hand over mine.

"I do not want a war but I will fight in one if it means my family and my crown are safe" I said.

"And we will be by your side" she said.

She squeezed my hand as I smiled.
