"I've been giving out chances every time, and all you do is let me down"

I looked between Saera and Vaella, deciding who should go first.

"I am going to throw a ball of fire towards you, and I want you to catch it" I said.

"What?" Saera said.

"A question?" I said.

"What if we get hurt?" She asked.

"We ride dragons.. and you are scared of a bit of fire?" I asked. "You're the fiercest woman in all of Westeros and a simple ball of fire frightens you?"

"No" she said.

"Good" I said.

I held my hand up as a ball of fire formed in my palm. I motioned for Vaella to move as Saera prepared herself. I threw the ball of fire as she quickly dodged it, not attempting to catch it.

"You didn't even try" I said.

"It's dangerous" Saera snapped.

"You need to know it!" I said. "You need to be able to protect yourselves because I will not always be by your side."

"The Red Keep is the safest place for us" Vaella said.

I walked to her, grabbing her face as she stared at me.

"These walls do not protect us from what lies within them!" I said. "I promised our father I'd protect the both of you and that is what I intend to do."

I let go of her face, instantly regretting being so harsh with her.

"You can go, Vaella" I said.

"What about me?" Saera said.

"You stay" I said.

Vaella left the dragon pit as I looked at Saera who was growing angry.

"I understand your frustration" I said.

"But do you?" She said.

"I trained day and night to perfect my magic.. I didn't have a choice" I said.

"You're not giving me a choice" she said.

I looked down, shaking my head.

"We lost our father not that long ago... I cannot bear to lose either of you" I said. "And I know since he died I've been harsher.. and I'm sorry, Saera, I truly am."

She hadn't said a word as I looked back up.

"Let's do it again" she said.

After much needed training with Saera, I walked down the hall with Ser Erryk beside me as we approached Ser Arryk who was wandering.

"Ser Arryk, where is my husband?" I asked.

He looked at his brother before looking to me.

"The Prince ordered me away" he said.

"That is not what I asked" I said.

"He left the castle" he said.

"To where?" I asked.

He looked at me, not wanting to say where but I knew. My stomach dropped as I took a deep breath.

"Princess, are you alright?" He asked.

"I need to lie down" I said.

Ser Erryk escorted me back to my chambers as I sat on the edge of my bed. Hours later, Aegon walked in, drunk. He was laughing to himself as I stood up, walking towards him.

"Where were you?" I asked.

He smiled before looking around for wine.

"Are you mute? Where were you!" I said.

"I was just having a little fun" he said.

"A little fun?" I said. "Do I look like a fool?"

He continued to look for wine as I grabbed him by his collar to look at me.

"I am to be the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.. I cannot have a husband who goes around fucking whores!" I said. "You are to be faithful only to me!"

"Do you really think your father was faithful to your mother?" He slurred.

I slapped him as he stumbled backward.

"Do not speak of my father in that way ever again, Aegon" I said. "I care for you.. you are my husband and will father my children... but do not think for a second think I will not defend my fathers name to even you."

I walked away from him, not wanting to spend another second looking at him.

"Visenya.." he said.

"Do not speak to me until you have your priorities straight" I said. "If you are not willing to stop your rendezvous and swear yourself only to me then I will find a new husband who will."

I walked out of our apartments as tears began rolling down my cheeks. I ended up at the doors of Jacaerys' chambers, hesitantly knocking on the door. I looked around to see if anyone had seen me before the doors opened. Jacaerys looked at me surprised and yet happy to see me.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

I walked into his chambers as he quickly closed the doors. I turned around as he was about to say something, crashing my lips onto his before he got the chance. I pulled apart form him as his eyes went from soft to hunger.

"I love you, Visenya" he whispered.

I knew I didn't love him, and that I shouldn't continue but I was so angry at Aegon I didn't care. I placed my lips back onto his as we made our way to his bed.
