"Oh shit." I heard Finana say quietly. "Xexon?"
There was no response as we all stared at the scene in front of us, of Xexon just quietly holding the hand of Felnar as her horrifically lifeless eyes stared at nothing. He had no tears in his eyes, but instead, his expression was rock hard with determination.
"Damn it." Tharngeil said, resting his little hand on the top of the axe. "They'll fucking pay for this."
At that, Xexon finally stood, then grabbed two large daggers, holding them in the opposite hands as he wiped a lone tear with his forearm.
"Yes." He whispered. "Yes they fucking will."
With that, we all turned around to the sound of more hollering, and I saw a group of twenty raiders, some of them riding horses, but most of them on foot and wielding swords. However, right at the very front of them, there was a very, very tall human male, and he seemed to be leading the raiders.
"Hey Finana, is that the leader?"
"I think so." She said, then pulled out a small kit from her belt. "Drar, you wanna help us take that dude down?"
"Sure. Tharngeil and Xexon, hold off the rest of them while we go for the captain."
"Alright, fair plan." She replied, then took out a roll of bandages, and with no warning, started wrapping it around my forearm."Ow ow ow Finana be careful!!" I snapped as she tore the bandage with her teeth.
"Well, we gotta get that patched up." She said, then held her spellbook at the ready as 5 of the raiders came running up to us. "We've got company!"And with that, she extended her hand forward, and she screamed yet again.
"THUNDERWAVE!!!"
Another wave of the thunderous force swept out of her, blasting the raiders back as the thunderous noise nearly blew out my eardrums. Three of the raiders were killed instantly, and the others were hurt horrifically as the thunderous wave blasted over them. I charged forward with my Halberd, attempting to slash at the raiders, but they dodged out of the way before the Halberd could catch them and do some serious damage. Instead, both of them slashed at me, but both of their blades glanced off of my armor as both Tharngeil and Xexon started to engage the rest of the raiders in a rather blind rage.
I pushed both of the raiders back trying to keep them off me, and Drar came in with his long sword and brought it in a deadly horizontal arc, cutting the raider completely in half and nicking the next with the edge of his blade. Out of the main pack, three more raiders came in to attack, trying to help their near fallen companion. Finana advanced towards them, nearly looking exhausted from all of the SpellCasting, and she clumsily swung her glaive, striking yet another of the raiders and cutting him straight across the chest and arm, sliding his leather armor like it was nothing, and I advanced forward, attempting a strike of my own, but one of the raiders, who was much taller than me, easily pushed me aside as the heat from the blade of my Halberd nearly seared my face. Finana ran ahead of me, shoving me and Drar back, and she extended her hand out yet again, this time screaming as she did it, and another wave of thunderous force came crashing out, and four of the raiders were killed instantly, while the other four were heavily wounded by the blast. Two of the raiders came at me, attempting to slash at me yet again, but I dodged out of the way of two hits as another grazed my armor, slashing across it and letting sparks fly. Two arrows from the horde of raiders shot towards me, and they both found chinks in my armor, jutting straight into me and causing pain to explode all throughout my body. I screamed as the brass tips of the arrows pierced me, and I fell to one knee, and then on my face, clutching the arrows.
