As we plummeted off the edge of the tower, I put the vampire beneath me, grabbed his neck, and started punching him mercilessly.
"GET. OUT. OF. HIM!!!!" I screamed with every hit.
The ground raced up towards us as we fell, and when we hit the ground, I forced him to hit first, and I blacked out as I felt something crunch within my spine.

I woke up suddenly, grasping at my lower spine, but surprisingly, I wasn't in any pain. I wasn't even in Faerun. I was in what looked like a throne room. A huge throne room, at that. It was beautiful too, with large marble columns that extended high up into the air. All over the walls, there were words and letters that were etched into them. Some of them were English, some French, some German, and it started delving into languages that I couldn't understand, and some that CERTAINLY weren't human. And finally, I saw the man that had talked to me. He was sitting at a simple-looking desk, with a large book in front of him, and he was engrossed in writing in the book. He never even looked at me, or even so much as regarded the fact that I was randomly in front of this guy I've never known. Instead, his hand was a near flurry of movement as he continued writing.
"Uhh. Hello there." I said.
He looked up, surprised to see me, and thunder boomed through the air.
"Nope!" He said quickly, an aura of power emanating from him and making my skin itch. "Nope, I am not having another one so soon after the last!"
"Another one? The last? What are you.."
"Goodbye Trevon Johnathan Hawkins!" He yelled.
Dazed by the fact that he knew my full name, I was suddenly thrust backward with a wave of his hand, and suddenly, my eyes shot open, staring up at the yelling face of Finana.
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!??!" She shrieked. "You just jumped off like that? What the FUCK?"
"I can't feel my legs." I said.
"Yeah I'm sure you cant!!" She screamed. "Damn the gods above Trevon, you scared me!"
She cried out again, then hugged me, and Haneen started chanting to herself in Draconic, and suddenly, the feeling was resorted within my legs, before she cast a healing spell, helping all of my wounds to heal. I gasped as I felt some of my bones snapping back into place, and Finana bandaged one of my biggest wounds.
"Where's-where's my father?"
"Trevon, you really should-"
"Where is he?"
She pointed over to my father, laying broken and scarred in the vampire's body, and I sat up and crawled over to him, cradling his head. Not only was he hurt, but out of the corner of my eye, I saw that our phones were on the ground, having been smashed to little bits.
"Dad?" I asked.
He coughed, but he looked up at me.
"Trevon." He said. "Listen, there's a reason I told you to kill me. By killing me, I'm free now."
He held up an amulet.
"Keep this safe, Trevon. When I die, it'll have my soul within it. I'll always be here with you, and who knows? Maybe you could build me a body one day."
I smiled. "You always did complain about getting old."
My father laughed his amazing laugh. "Yes I did. Boy, your mother would be so proud. So proud..."
