I stood at the edge of the bow, staring out over the desert that was slowly changing into plains. We were approaching the borders of Sharal-Dun, and BahnBarr was getting anxious.

"The Wall should be up here. That's the border of Sharal-Dun. When we get to the border, I'll use my name to get us inside, just don't do anything stupid, Trevon."

"Hey!"

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding!" She replied with a large smile. "Anyway, we can head right to the realm of the northern elves."

"Whoa wait, cant we stop at the southern elves?" I asked. "Why can't we? I need to get off this airship or a while. Five days of traveling from the Orcs is killing me. Wait a minute, BahnBarr, can we stay with your parents?"

"Whoa wait, no that isn't a good idea."

"Why not?" I asked.

"I've already told you guys. I'm pretty sure they disowned me."

"Well, are you certain?"

She opened her mouth to say something, but the look I gave her must have been much more meaningful than I thought, because she started thinking over her words more.

"I can't face them." She said quietly. "Please. Can we just go past them?"

"BahnBarr, look." I said, sitting on the aftcastle railing and giving her a confident look. "I confronted my father. It was one of the hardest things I've done. And now, he's here. He's always with me. Maybe even one day we could build him a new body. But for now, he's with me, and I'm sure yours will too. Let's at least try, BahnBarr. And if it doesn't work, we find something else."

She sighed, but she was convinced. "Alright." She said. "We'll stop at the tree of Sylva Anore. But here, we are coming up on the Great Wall. Behold!"

We passed through a small layer of fog, coming upon mountains, and when the fog cleared, there was the wall, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was enormous, and it was built in an old Asian style, with beautiful symmetries, pillars that supported many of the buildings, and the actual wall itself was over three hundred feet tall. It laid it way across the mountains as far as the eye could see, like an enormous snake that was coiled around the mountain range. There were towers that were intermixed in it, leaving the low, sloped roofs that old Eastern buildings had, and huge red columns. It was gorgeous.

"Oh my god." I said. "What is this?"

BahnBarr looked ecstatic. "Welcome, to Sharal-Dun, home of the elves."

There weren't any other airships that were flying around, which concerned me a little bit, and I turned to BahnBarr.

"Hey, there aren't any other airships?" I asked.

"Since the war, a lot of people don't want to come into Sharal-Dun." She replied. "It's fair enough, and add that to the list of why we have to stop the war."

"Good enough for me. Remember everyone, we have to stay out of Elven conflicts. Our focus remains on the city. We land at the tree of Sylva Anore, stay for the night, or maybe a day, then we make haste for the Tree of Unarith."

"Good enough plan!" Finana said. "And get ready, airship inbound!"

I looked out over the bow of the airship, and true enough to word, there was a large airship heading to us, with Junk-looking ship sails that were full of the tacked wind, and when they got close enough, they raised their sails, and both of our elementals ground the ships to a halt (which wasnt Bartholomew's favorite thing). All of the crew of the ship were timeless, beautiful elves, but they looked weary and battle worn, their armor scratched and battered, and yet, they were just a beautiful as BahnBarr. And all of them were the same color, just with slight variations. Brown, darker brown, burned orange, tan brown, but all were dark skinned.
