We thundered our way up the stairs, trying to get to Alocertha, but so far, she was no where in the castle. Her room was empty, but as I made my way higher, we came to a small archway that spanned how of the towers, and I saw Alocertha at the top, attempting to conjure a spell, and yet, I had no clue what kind of spell it was.
"What is she doing?" I asked.
BahnBarr's face darkened. "I don't want to figure out the hard way. Let's get her. Across here!"
We ran across the archway, and BahnBarr put her hand on my shoulder when we passed, stopping the group.
"Guys, I know this is a really bad time." She said. "But just in case some of don't make it, I just want to say, I want to build that home for all of us anyway. We need a home, and its one of the best ideas you've ever had, Trevon."
Despite the current situation, I still nodded, and I hugged BahnBarr, which was a little awkward since she was taller than me, but I didn't care one bit. I was so happy to have my friends by my side. It was incredible, and it was one of the best things that could have happened to me since getting here. In that stairwell of that tower, I hugged all of my friends, promising to build that house for our new family, and we continued up the stairwell, getting closer and closer to our goal, but the tower stopped, and I looked BahnBarr.
"BahnBarr, teleport us to that tower, over there." I said. "Here, come to the window. Get a good look at the tower."
She got to the window, then looked out at the tower, and she started tapping he staff on the ground, before suddenly, we weren't in the tower anymore. We were in the other tower, and Alocertha was just above us, preparing the spell she wanted to cast. I climbed u the stairs, holding Finana's hand, and I shoved the trapdoor open, leading us to her. She didn't even turn around, even as I drew the Halberd, but finally, she shut her tome, and she sighed.
"Let me guess, you want to kill me, just because you lost your stupid fairy." She said. "Unfortunately, none of you can kill me, now can you? Trevon made quite sue of that."
Rage burned in my arms, and yet, I knew she was right. I got us into this mess, and it was time for me to get us out of this.
"Alocertha, just give up." I said. "It's over. The army is taking the city, and the won't let you get out alive. Just give it up, and you may-"
"NO!!!" She screamed, causing me to flinch. "I WANT YOU, AND SHE STOLE THAT FROM ME!!"
She shot a hateful look at Finana.
"She stole this from me, and this filthy half-breed made my life MISERABLE!!"
"You did that to yourself!" I yelled. "I almost loved you, and you turned on me! You went crazy! You are crazy, Alocertha!"
"IM NOT INSANE!!!" She screamed. "Gods damn you Trevon, you just couldn't make the right choices! ANd now you'll make a new life, a new home, with HER?"
She spat those words at me, and I grabbed Finana's hand, holding it in my own, and Alocertha looked back and forth between us, before a look of horror and disgust crossed her face.
"You did not..." She said. "Not with a half-breed."
She sighed, trying to keep her cool, then looked over at me.
"Trevon, I will give you one chance." She said. "Come and live with me. Rule with me. Ill let her keep the baby. I'll cut it out and leave it with her."
Bile rose to my mouth,a and I thrust myself forward, ready to tear Alocertha to pieces, but she held up her hand, holding a scroll, and unfortunately I recognized it. A wish scroll.
