We're I the mall on America when Connors phone starts ringing. "Hey" he picks up the phone. He mumbles something opaque into his phone and then he adds "no sorry me and Troye are in the mall on America right now... Yes... Yes you would interrupt a very romantic date." Connor adds laughing. "No you can't." I can only imagine that he is talking to one of his hometown friends. Suddenly he puts his phone back in to his pocket. "He just ended the call." Connor says shaking his head. "I can only imagine that we will get stalked on in about 10 minutes." He says laughing. I smile. I can only imagine how his high school friends are. Like him athletic and determined. "You must have missed them." I say slowly. "Yeah I did. Especially with all the Tyler drama." He steps out of the shop and heads to the escalators. "Let's find something to eat." Connor say. We decide on a burger place that Connor says is awesome and take a small table in the back of the restaurant. Connor slowly takes my hand that is lying on the table. As always I'm confused when he shows publicly affection towards me. "You know that I want to film the video right?" He says looking into my eyes. "Yeah I know why do you ask?" "Because I'm telling you since Africa that I would do it and I didn't do it till now and I feel like I'm leading you on." "Con, your not. I told you to take your time to do it when it feels save. When you had some time and space to think about it clearheaded. You don't have to rush it. I don't want you to regret it afterwards." I say. He leans closer and I am surprised that he want to kiss me here in his hometown in public. But then his lips are on mine and I feel like I'm flying. His lips are soft and taste like coffee that he had earlier. Suddenly somebody coughs behind us. I jump away from Connor and back on my side of the tabble. "And Yet I thought that we would never see the famous Connor Franta back in Minnesota." A guy with dark hair says. He is very athletic built. Connor smiles at him. "Yeah you never know right." He just says and gets up to greet him with a hug. "I though it was a joke when you said you where on a romantic date." The guy says and then turns to me. "Hi I'm Jacob." "Troye" I just say and shake his hand. "What are you doing here?" Jacob asks Connor. "Mostly getting away from LA and of cause visiting my family." He answers. "I'm really sorry that I interrupted your date. I really thought that you joked. I'm just gonna leave..." "Stay please." I say quickly. He looks confused. "Please." I say slowly again. "If you don't want to be on a date with Connor I totally get it. I mean I can't imagine what you see in him." Jacob says with a huge grin on his face while sitting down next to Connor. "I really like being on a date with him but I also would like to meet some of his real friends." I say while taking a sip out of my coke. Connor and I share a long lasting look. Jacob just starts to laugh again. "So I want all the details." "Trust me you don't." Connor just says and I start to blush. "Connnahhh be a gentlemen once." Jacob says while punshing him on his biceps. "Aawww." Connor just says. "So how did it" he brandishes wildly with his hands between Connor and me "this happen?" I'm not sure what to answer so I let Connor take the lead and talk while I slowly take a sip out of my coke. "So you know that Troye and I know each other from YouTube. You know same YouTube friend lead to hanging out at conventions with these friends." Jacob just nods wildly. "I had a crush on Troye since January really." This is news to me too. I knew how I felt but I never knew that he was into me for such a long time. "Of cause I never told Troye because I didn't tell him that I was hmmm am gay." He smiles thinking about the past. "So when we and the boys did the Italy tour in summer Troye and I shared a room in Rome. That was the moment that it was clear to me that I had fallen for him." Jacob wiggled his eyebrowns. "And then I spontaneously flew to Australia and surprise visited him to tell him that I am gay and then well you can imagine the rest." Connor says. Our dinner came. while eating Jacob talked about some people that I didn't knew but Connor needed to be updated on their activities.
"... Allie is throughing a party tonight by the way." I cough from their conversation. "I'm sure you two are invited as well... I mean she doesn't know that you are there but if she knew... I mean you should just come. Everybody will be thrilled." "I don't know..." Connor says slowly looking at me. I can't read his expression. "Oh it's not like a party party it's just us hanging. Nobody there who doesn't know about you already." Connor sight. "So we are in." I just say and smile. "Sure..." Connor says slowly.
