We didn't speak the whole drive to the airport. I had turned on the music loud humming to the melody trying hard to convince myself that this was not good bye. We would see each other in Africa just as we disgusted it. But still. I had the feeling that our relationship would loose its farytaile feeling once we both would realse what it ment to be in a long distance relationship. We had the windows rolled down and the warm spring air was helping to clear my head. He was sitting there his eyes closed looking peaceful but inside I knew he was just as upset as I was. We had said everything yesterday while strolling through the park in our neighborhood. Had shared our fears and our feelings. Especially the next weeks would be tough when Connor would be in switstal to help the thirst project and he wouldn't have any phon connection. But i was sure about my Feelings towards him and I knew that he was feeling the same.

"Maybe we will lose the feelings of a new romance...but maybe what follows is a even better feeling."

With that one sentence yesterday he had made all my fears disappear. I turned the radio louder.
"Lady running down to the riptide taking away to the dark side I wanna be your left hand man..." I sung loudly towards Connor which made him giggle.
I relaxed. We are going to get through this I though and then tried to convince Connor to sing with me which was some hard work because he believed that he couldn't sing. But still as we got closer to the airport the tension was built up again.

We stand in the great hall of the airport. It's time to finally say good bye for real this time. We are standing in the middle of the room. I'm unsure how much affection I can show here in the most crowded place of Perth. But he as always surprises me but closing the gap between us and hugging me thighly and longer than a platonic friend would do. "I'm really gonna miss you Tro." He whispers into my ear. I just nod trying to hold back my tears. "I love you." I whisper back. He leans closer giving me a short peck on the lips which is enogh of an answer. "This is no goodbye..." He says. "Then see ya?" I asks which makes him giggle. "Yeah see ya." He says, turns around and then he is gone.
