"Your name?" Ani ng babaeng mas maskulado pa sa lalaki. Ruan scan her briefly. She had those big biceps that you will really hesitate if you mess up with her. Nah, ayaw niyang masapak ng kamao nito na kasing laki din ng sa lalaki.

"I don't share my name." She said. Tumawa ang babae. Pati ang pagtawa nito ay napaka manly. She's handsome for a woman, Ruan gives her that.

"C'mon we will probably spend our time together for a year. How shall we call you?" The woman sounds friendly but she's a push over. Ruan could sense the irritation coming from her. The last thing that she's going to earn in this journey is an enemy. Kaya imbis na tanggihan pa niya ito ay sinabi nalang niya.

"Just call me, Ruan." Ruan didn't dare to call herself Aleria as her face is no longer near Aleria's. The magic she puts on her face serves her well. The woman smiled showing her white canny teeth.

"Good. You can call me Rose. That man at the center." She glanced at the front while pointing her lips to the petite man. "His name is Bronze, and that girl is Lucy. The big man out there is my brother Lotus. They're all a snob."

She looks manly but she's very talkative for her liking. Mukhang matagal na silang magkakasama kaya gano'n nalang nila kaalam ang isa't isa. Snob nga ata ang tatlo dahil hindi man lang ito lumingon sa kanila.

"You've been travelling for a awhile now?" Tumango naman ang babae sa tanong niya.

"Aye. We've been travelling together for... I lost count of the years."

"Must been very long."

"We live too long." Ani nito. Ruan agreed. They're lifespan is too long that you will eventually forgot your birthday. Well, only the cultivators have long lives anyways. 'Yung mga commoners ay normal lang ang lifespan nila na katumbas lang ng sa Earth.

Sa sitwasyon ng mga commoners, mas madali pa atang mamatay kaysa ang mabuhay. Surviving is too hard for them. Lalo na kung magulo ang bansang kinalakihan mo. They could migrate, yes. But travelling safely is almost impossible.

"A week from now, madadaanan na natin ang ghost valley."

Napansin naman nito ang pag-iba ng expresyon ni Ruan kaya nagpatuloy ito.

"You haven't travelled that much."It was not a question. Hindi nagsalita si Ruan. Aleria did traveled a lot before but its been too long and the memories in her head is not that accurate now. Maraming nagbago. Even that ghost valley is not there before. In Aleria's memory, plain land lang yun na pinamamahayan ng mga magical ethnics.

"That valley is not there before," Ani nalang niya.

"Aye, and that's a mystery. Walang sino man ang nakakaalam kung ano ang totoong pinagmulan ng ghost valley. But ever since the massacre of the Morgens naging ganyan nalang."

"By whom?" Tiningnan siya ni Rose.

"Who knows. It was like hundreds ago. Don't tell me you didn't travel much during those times?"

"Hmm, I stayed somewhere for a long time."

"Good for you."

Their conversation ended like that. Rose went ahead with her brother para tingnan ang sitwasyon ng dadaanan nila. Habang ang dalawa naman ay mahina ang mga boses na nag-uusap. They're voices are soft but that didn't stop her from listening.

Pinag-uusapan nila ang magiging strategy kung sakaling may biglang umatake sa mga cargo. Bronze's assignment is to protect the master in the front and Lucy will be at the back.

They're talking about the strategy without involving Ruan. How thoughtful. They must be planning like they usually do without her. That's alright though.
