A rabbit and a little bird
are playing in the grass,
the sun has only risen
and the drops of dew won't last.
The rabbit runs under a tree
she jumps with all her might,
spreading out her silky wings
the little bird alights.
Perched above the rabbit
the little bird will sing,
a song of wind and sunshine
the sweet notes clearly ring.
And the rabbit down below her
while listening to her friend,
taps out the song in rhythm
until the daylight ends.
