*Noah's POV*

I love how well Sutton fits in with the guys.

A couple of hours had passed and we had played Cards Against Humanity, drank way too many beers, and ordered enough Chinese food to feed an army. We were all outside watching the Nicks practice their jousting... yeah. It was an eyesore, but they enjoyed it, and who are we to stop people from being happy?

Jolly, Sutton, and I sat on the deck and watched them, occasionally shouting commentary at them. "You're going to stab Folio's eye out!" Jolly shouted at Nic. Nic stopped and shot him the finger, being surprised when Folio took that as a way to get a good stab in. We all laughed, but noticed that the sun was setting. We stopped to admire it, noting it was probably around 7 pm at this point. "I'm going to miss these sunsets when we move to LA," Jolly said suddenly. Sutton immediately got tense, looking at me confused, and if looks could kill, I would have killed Jolly. Without a word, she got up and went inside. I smacked Jolly on the back of the head before heading inside.

"Sutton?" I said as soon as the door opened. She was no where to be found, so I started to head to the bathroom to look for her, but she hadn't made it; she was just sitting in a ball in the hallway crying. I sat down next to her, wanting to give her space, but not too much space.

"When were you going to tell me?" she started, still not looking at me. I would have lifted her chin, but it was so buried in her arms, that I wouldn't know where to begin.

"If it became reality," I started, which made her loosen up some. "Jolly and Folio want to move, but Nic and I are still unsure. They think it would make things easier for music production reasons, but Nic has the shop he works at here and I have you. There are a million things to consider, but you are one of the top things that I consider in this conversation, I promise." I leaned my head onto her shoulder, I couldn't stand not touching her for another second. I wish I could hold her hand or something, but she balled up too tightly for me to do that.

"What are the likelihoods of either option?" she asked.

I took a really deep breath. "50/50. They make really good points, but unless we just really take off, I still see it as choosing between music or you, and I don't like ultimatums." She let her legs spread out in front of her, opening herself up, and I took the chance to wipe her tears away before I kissed her. "I love you, and I'm sorry that this conversation started off completely wrong. I was only going to worry you about it if it came to fruition, and it's definitely not being decided anytime soon."

She nodded. "I love you, too. I'm just so scared to lose you," she admitted. "Again, I don't let people in and I loved you so hard and so fast, that the thought of losing you is way too much." I hugged her tight to me, bringing her head to my chest as she wrapped her arms around her waist. I heard the door open and someone jump when they found us.

"Is-is everything okay?" Nic asked, calming down since we clearly scared the shit out of him.

"Yeah, Jolly's an asshole is all," I said with a small smile. Nic threw up his hands as a way of saying that he wants to stay out of it and continued to the bathroom. "Come with me," I said to Sutton, pulling her up. I led her to my room upstairs, wanting to get some privacy. I shut the door behind us and immediately pulled her into a hug. "Again, I am so sorry, love," I pleaded.

"It's not your fault. Just... don't be afraid to talk to be about hypotheticals. It will hurt a lot less for me to know too much in advance than at the last second," she suggested. She broke away and took a second to look around. I keep my room pretty minimalist and clean, and I could sense the relief she had at that. My bed is even made, which doesn't happen everyday, but I do keep my surfaces cleaned off and my laundry kept up, always. "This is really nice," she mused.
