*Sutton's POV*

Noah left early the next morning since he promised Jolly to start working on music that day, plus I had to open the store. Luckily, I was opening with Dillon, so I got to spill everything to her as we did our bank run together.

"I would jump off a building if like even a fraction of that happened to me! I wouldn't know what to do with myself if someone was that considerate of me," she interjected with a massive smile on her face.

"Honestly, I don't know how I kept myself together at all! I've never had a romantic connection with someone like this before and it's wild!" I mused.

"Do you think you're gonna fall in love and get married and have babies?" she asked, kind of joking, kind of not.

"I could see it," I answered honestly, and her eyebrows shot up. The bank teller put the bank bag back in the drawer and slid it back, I thanked them and drove away. "Honestly, I'm scared of how intensely I feel about him so soon, but I'm not going to scare him with that. At this point, that man wouldn't have to walk on water to convince me that he's God," I said with a chuckle.

"Well, follow your gut as far as when to tell him things because he honestly might wait on you to say anything before he does, if I'm gauging his personality right. Shit, I told Jack I loved him three days after meeting him! Everyone is different, but it seems like this was such an instant connection like we were," she offered.

"You're right, I think I do love him," I finally admitted. As we parked, I felt my phone buzz.

Noah: I made it home safe! Have a good day, love :)

I showed my phone to Dillon with an amused face and she clearly was trying to not scream. We had 5 minutes until the store opened, so we raced inside.

Me: Good! Make some good music, honey :)

Two can play at that game.

Noah could come back for two weeks, and I was understanding, but it was also torture. We spent around an hour on Facetime every day, usually while we were cooking or in bed for that night. We periodically texted, but honestly, I don't feel like I have to keep tabs on him or anything; I simply just trust him. I can tell that even though there's no label on us, that I'm all his, and he knows that it goes both ways.

I was off on Wednesday this week, and he decided to come down and hang out for the day. It was 10 am and I was loading up the dishwasher when I heard a knock on the door. I quickly dried my hands and went to go let him in, but it was Callie instead?

"Hey?" I said confused. I took in her appearance and she had definitely been crying all night. Jasmine was about to run out the door, so I pulled Callie inside and hugged her. "Honey, what's wrong?"

"Peter broke up with me last night," she cried into my chest. She was around 5'3" so she's pretty short in comparison to me.

"What?! Why?!" I almost yelled, but I didn't want to hurt her ears.

"I told him I wasn't ready to move in yet and he said he couldn't do the distance anymore," she was sobbing by now. Peter, who she had started dating in high school, moved to a city a few hours away to go to college, and that went fine, but he's about to graduate and accepted a job offer down there. "I tried so hard, Sutton, but he didn't want to hear it. He probably has a roster of girls that were pining after him anyway."

"You're being way too hard on yourself," I said, playing with her hair. "Why aren't you open to moving?" I asked, more to start the deeper conversation.

"I don't want to be far from my family, and especially my dogs. I spend so much time with them that I couldn't imagine not being near them. I can't believe that after 5 years that he would just quit this easily!" At this point, she broke away and started pacing. She noticed that I had cleaned and had some candles lit around her. "Shit, Noah's coming today, isn't he?" she asked with clear guilt.
