*Sutton's POV*

I woke up with a start, having a nightmare. They had become more frequent, and I just hoped that I hadn't screamed in my sleep. I freaked out more when I didn't recognize where I was, but then I remembered that I was in Noah's bed. I let out a deep breath.

How did I let myself back into Noah's bed?

I looked around, noting that I was still alone. I wonder where he slept. I found my phone and saw that it's 10 am; there's no way anyone else is awake yet. I didn't have anything with me, so I accepted the defeat of not being able to brush my teeth and went downstairs to the kitchen. I found hashbrowns and the materials to make pancakes and began working on that, as well as brewing a whole pot of coffee.

"Good morning," Noah mused with a sleepy smile and a soft voice, going straight for the coffee. He checked me out, loving that I was still in his clothes.

"Good morning," I replied back, keeping my focus on the food in front of me; him in his softer states makes me too weak.

"Thank you for cooking breakfast," he said as he hugged me from behind, seeing that I wasn't going to break my focus.

"It's no problem, thanks for everything yesterday," I mused back, hoping that my face wasn't too red. He left me to grab coffee creamer and Nic emerged in curiosity.

"Good morning, guys," he mumbled, clearly not a morning person, going straight for the coffee, grabbing a mug, and going outside. I was alone with Noah again. I'm just so confused on what to do that I really don't want to think this hard in the morning. I broke away for a moment to grab my own mug of coffee.

"So, uh," he started nervously, like he was really hesitating. "I know you said you want to take things slow, and I do too, so understand that when I ask you..." he trailed off, clearly trying to backtrack, so I gave him a look that said to continue. "Can I take you on a date tonight?" He asked, a blush rising to his cheeks, and definitely onto mine. "It can have as much or as little weight as you want it to have, you're in the driver's seat here. I just... missed you and would love some time with just you, without the guys," he added, and his nervousness was really cute. I decided to prolong my answer, just to make him sweat, acting like I really had to think about it as I put creamer in my coffee and messed with the food some more, flipping pancakes and shuffling hashbrowns before leaning against the counter.

"Of course I'll go on a date with you," I finally said with a smile, and he stopped fidgeting with his ring, letting out a deep breath.

"You drive me fucking insane, you know that?" He asked with a small chuckle.

I smiled, not wanting to respond to that. "You're gonna have to get creative because I'm not sure if you're aware, but there's kind of a global pandemic, so we can't really go anywhere..." I trailed off, trying to tease him.

"Please, do you think that I'm an amateur or something? I'm the king of dates," he said right as Folio entered, his jaw dropping from hearing the tail end of that, making both of us blush.

"Well, good morning to you two," he said excitedly. "Sutton, thank you for cooking because there's no way that this guy did all of this."

"Hey! Don't make her think I'm helpless!" He joked back.

"Now that he mentioned it, I've never seen you cook... maybe I should be scared for tonight," I joked back, thinking about how we usually went out to eat or I would just make breakfast.

"Ooooo, what's going on tonight?" Orie piped up, coming into the kitchen with Jolly. He looked between Noah and I, noticing the bashfulness on our faces and figured it out. He looked at Noah. "Well I'll be damned, you really didn't need me," he joked, and I didn't know what he meant. He just went outside to join Nic. Jolly gave Noah a knowing smile and followed him. I finished cooking everything and let Noah and Folio grab the first plates, me struggling to have an appetite now that I'm a bundle of nerves.
