*Noah's POV*
I stormed out of the studio, knowing that I didn't want to go home yet. I called my friend Andy from Crown the Empire, and luckily he answered after a couple of rings. "Hey dude! What's up?" He answered cheerily.
"Nothing much, just got done recording early. What are you up to tonight?" I wasn't going to be honest and say that I got kicked out.
"I'm actually going to a pretty insane party tonight, if you want to come with," he offered.
"Sounds great, send me the address," I mused.
"Sure, and dress just a little better than normal. Not full suit, just... not a t-shirt," he said with a chuckle.
"Are you sure this is something that's okay to crash?" I asked, now anxious.
"Absolutely, get there around 9," he advised. He hung up and I got myself an Uber home, noting that it was only 7:30. I got home around 8 and smoked before getting ready. I always have this heaviness in my chest after I smoke, but it's not as bad as the heaviness that I feel before I smoke. The panic attacks are a lot worse without this, trust me. I threw on my usual black turtle neck and black slacks combo, spraying cologne on myself. I grieved the fact that the necklace would have been perfect with this and let the grief pass.
I had a little bit longer before I had to leave, so I sat on my bed and scrolled through social media, which I told myself to stop doing. Danielle had posted photos of her, Sutton, and Dillon hanging out today at breakfast, and the heaviness was back. I squeezed Norah, and noticed that the heart didn't work. I tried again and again, as through I was performing CPR, but it was dead. I threw it at the wall in frustration, knowing that I didn't have time to cry. Yet another thing gone. I smoked one more time, sprayed myself again, and got an Uber to the address Andy sent.
I texted Andy when I pulled up; there were a lot of cars here, most of them with drivers sitting in them waiting on whoever was inside. I found Andy out front and gave him a massive hug. "Noah! You look great. Wow, your hair has gotten long," he said with a chuckle, noticing it was hitting my ribs now.
"Thanks man, so, what is this place?" I finally asked.
"Well," he said with a massive smile. "This is actually Jesse Rutherford's house." I involuntarily doubled over in absolute shock. I love the Neighbourhood so much! "I know!" He mused like he read my mind. He pulled me inside, finding his other band mates. They were luckily by the liquor in the kitchen, so I made myself a Jack and Coke while Andy introduced me to everyone. They mused about how much they loved my work, but I didn't give that as much energy as I usually do.
If I'm being honest, I hate large parties like this. I mean, it's packed wall to wall down here while there are also a ton of people swimming in the pool outside, too. I don't know how many people are here but it's easily over 100.
There were definitely girls left and right looking at me like a piece of meat, but I didn't want anything to do with anyone right now. We migrated to the dining room and there were literally 20 different bongs available with pounds of weed on the table. The guys and I looked at each other and shrugged, deciding to go for it. We loaded two and shared them between the six of us. We were faded before long.
We wandered around after that, trying to see if we knew anyone. There were a lot of people that we knew but not personally, more on the levels of fame that you would never expect them to just be passing joints in Jesse's living room. We noticed quite a few people going downstairs, so we followed. There were a few tattoo artists doing quick Neighbourhood tattoos, so of course I got in line. Some tattoo therapy would be lovely right now.
