The girl woke up after one of the best night sleeps she had experienced since 2001, the year she was born.
Balancing university, work and family life wasn't easy, naturally it took a toll on the girl
Gyuri lay in bed for an extra 10 minutes after her alarm went off, stretching her stiff limbs and stiffening her yawns.
"That was a werid dream." The girl thought.
She had dreamt that she was back in highschool, still being the doormat of the two older kids that she barely knew.
She dreamt that she met Heeseung in his classroom, and that she told him to keep going and to not give up.
Gyuri hadn't seen Heeseung since '19, when they had graduated. He hadn't even come to the ceremony, probably out of fear of being humiliated by the bullies.
Gyuri hadn't seen the two older kids that used to make her do things for them since then either. She was lucky that way.
The girl got out of bed and hopped straight into the shower, eager to get ready for the day.
She had a shift at work until midday, and then she was free!
Days off were luxury for Gyuri, and she was ready to spend the day cafe hopping, visiting book stores and listening to good music as she enjoyed the perfect weather.
"Work had until midday, then you're free." She told herself as she looked in the mirror.

The girl sat at the counter, explaining the same thing over and over again to a customer.
Yes, it's a 3 year warranty for the watch. No, you can't replace it for free after that. Yes, it's on sale. No, I can't make the price any lower.
Same old, as usual. I guess it was expected to be dealing with old and annoying customers when you worked at a watch store.
The girl was tired. She glanced at the clock above her head, 5 more minutes and the kind old lady that had way more patience than her would be taking over the store.
It's looks like luck was on her side today, because that kind old lady decided to come to the store 5 minutes earlier.
"Gyuri, you've been working so hard. Why don't you leave this customer to me and clock off now?"
Gyuri kindly accepted her offer and raced to the backroom, ready to change out of her uniform, grab her belongings and get the hell out of here.
She clocked out right on time. Nothing could ruin her mood now, for she was going to have the best and most relaxing day that she could have.
As she was about to leave the backroom, she sighted a familiar figure entering the store.
"Is that...Lee Heeseung?" She thought.
It was as if the boy could read her mind. Heeseung made direct eye contact with the girl straight away, causing Gyuri to flinch and look away, hiding her face in the process.
"Deseperate times call for desperate measures." Thought the girl as she abandoned her path to the main door and exited the store through the back door.
"He probably didn't recognise me." She convinced herself as she made her way to the nearest bus stop, ready to explore the centre of the city.
"Why am I running from him anyways? Is it the guilt?"
Maybe it was.

Gyuri let out a content sigh as she sat in her favourite spot in her favourite store.
It was a vintage styled coffee shop, that also had a large variation of books for the customers to chose from.
Gyuri sat in the old lonely chair from across the window, ancient book placed in her lap and a hot latte to her side.
Instead of reading the book or drinking her coffee however, she was people watching.
She watched a group of friends laugh over something on a phone.
She watched a child beg their father for some candy from the nearest confectionery store.
She watched and old couple walk hand in hand even though they were both using walking sticks.
The scene was healing, she decided to take a photo and post in on her story, for memories.
Almost immedietly after posting the photo, someone had viewed her story.
"What's this?" The girl thought as she clicked on the account.

Who the hell is User728939813?
Gyuri took a leap of faith and opened her dm's
Gyuriiiii
Hello, do I know you?
SeenOn the other Hand, Lee Heeseung was panicking.
User728939813
I think so hahahha...
We went to highschool togetherHighschool? Together? And what was with the awkward in text laughing? Gyuri decided that this was probably someone pranking her or trying to make a fool out of herself.
So she blocked the account without a second thought.
Heeseung, who was sitting down on a park bench, sucked air in out of frustration.
"What's wrong?" Jay asked as he finished texting Hyeri his order of drinks
"I was talking to someone on Instagram but now it won't allow me to message them."
Jay chuckled and peeped at his friends phone. "They probably blocked you. Try to be less creepy next time, HeeHee."
"Don't call me that."
"I didn't call you anything, I was just laughing."
Maybe Gyuri blocking Heeseung on Instagram unknowingly would once and for all cut off all ties they had.
Then again, maybe it wouldn't.
