Gyuri had done something that had suprised her.

She had messaged Heeseung first.

Asking to meet him.

Heeseung had replied almost instantly, telling the girl to go to his company and to wait for him in the lobby.

And that's how she found herself sitting in the Lobby of Hybe, nervously playing with the zips on her bag as she avoided the awkward stares from people passing by.

"You're lucky I'm on break right now." A voice started her. She looked to her side and saw Heeseung sitting down next to her.

"Why are you so sweaty?" She asked

Heeseung scoffed. "Seriously? No 'Hey Heeseung, how are you?'"

Gyuri smiled and shook her head.

"Well, If you really need to know, we were in the middle of dance practice. That's the break I'm on."

Whispers were heard from employees who were staring at the two.

"Come, let's talk more comfortably somehwere private."

Gyuri nod her head in agreement and followed the boy.

"Oooh, fancy" she commented when Heeseung pulled out his ID card, which was the key to letting them get through.
Gyuris comment only made Heeseung flex his card even more.

"So when you said 'private'...." Gyuri trailed off, looking at the scene infront of her.

They were currently in an almost empty practice room.

"Sorry, I didn't know they'd still be here."

Sunoo and Ni-ki sat on the floor, arguing over who gets the last piece of chocolate.

"They still haven't noticed us. Gyuri, if you could slowly-" Heeseung attempted to smuggle the two out of the room, but it was no use.

"Oh! Looks like we have a visitor!" Ni-ki commented, easily distracting Sunoo and then swooping in and eating the chocolate.

Now, the boys sat on the floor and stared at the adults standing above them.

"So guys" Heeseung stared off the awkward introcudction. "This is Gyuri, my friend. Be nice."

Sunoo and Niki waved happily, Gyuri reciprocated their movements.

"It's nice to meet you" Sunoo said, standing up.

"Where are you going?" Niki asked cluelessly.

Sunoo hauled the younger up to his feet, and pulled him towards the exit. Niki seemed to get the idea.

"Have fun with your girlfriend!" He yelled from afar, making Sunoo smack his arm. It sounded painful.

Heeseung invited the girl to sit on the floor and disappeared into the corner of the room, only to return with two cups of chamomile tea.

"So? Why'd you want to meet so eagerly?"

Gyuri sipped the lukewarm tea and grimaced at it's bitter taste. They must have bought a cheap brand.

"I don't know. I was nervous about my presentation and you make me forget all my worries"

Heeseungs face was painted with a large smile. "Aww, do I?"

Gyuri rolled her eyes. "I didn't mean it like that, you're just fun to be around."

Heeseung smiled widened even more, if that was possible. "I bet I am fun, aren't I?"

Gyuris shoulders dropped comfortably, she loosened her fists and let her tounge rest away from the roof of her mouth as she uncleanched her teeth.

She relaxed and fell into soft laughter. "Ah, seriously. You're crazy." She commented as she shook her head in disbelief.

Heeseung smiled softly at the girl as he watched her laugh all her stress away.

"So what's this talk about a presentation?" He asked once Gyuri was done laughing.

"Oh, it's the presentation that will go towards my final grade." Gyuri said, drowning down her drink in one go.

Heeseung scrunched his eyebrows thoughtfully.

"Would you like someone to listen to you? Or would you like some advice?"

Gyuri shook her head. "Neither. I just wanted to see you."

Gyuris comment made Heeseung feel happier than it should have.

They were interrupted by someone clapping. It was Sunoo

"Sorry to interrupt you love birds, but break is over and everyone's coming back." Sunoo informed the two.

"We're not love- it's not like that- nevermind." Gyuri attempted to defend herself.

Heeseung and Gyuri walked out of the practice room, passing sunoo who seemed to be muttering about how he was surrounded by lovers and how he hoped that everyone that was happy died.

"Sorry to cut our meeting short, I'll message you later." Heeseung finally spoke once they were in the lobby.

"It's all good, I'll see you later. Thanks for making time for me." Gyuri smiled and did an awkward handshake with the boy.

"Ugh, why did I do that?" She mentally cringed as they let go of eachothers hands.

"Hey Gyuri?" Heeseung called out once she was almost at the exit. It seemed like he had been contemplating on whether he should say what was on his mind or not. "You'll do great, don't overthink it."

Gyuri smiled appreciatively and left.

Heeseung turned around and went back to the practice room, feeling more energised than he had been before.

He walked in and found all the boys sitting on the floor, huddled around eachother.

Everyone's faces seemed to brighten once they caught sight of the boy.

"Heeseungs gone and got a girlfriend now, has he?"

"Wait til Yunjin hears about this. She'll be so excited"

"Meeting in secret? How scandalous of you" everyone teased

Oh right, he had forgotten about his members playful nature.

Guess he was going to have to deal with them all day now.
