"Here we are! Kmart, simply the best." Gyuri stopped Infront of the store.

Heeseung immedietly grabbed the girls hands and walked away. "No. Their bags are so low quality. Go get a Nike bag, I'm serious, it'll last you a life time."

Gyuri used all her strength to stop the boy from waking. "But I like Kmart bags...they're classic."

Heeseung shook his head. "You can't even blame me for ripping your bag at this point. Kmart bags are ass."

He dragged the girl to another store and showed her their collection of backpacks.

"Chose one, I have a voucher so you can get it for free." Heeseung said.

"Why won't you use the voucher for yourself?"

"Because I hardly come to this store. I'm being serious, you should use it now or it'll expire."

Gyuri finally agreed and pointed out a black bag. Simple is best.

They walked towards the cashier. Heeseung grabbed the bag and took it to the counter, pulling out his credit card.

Gyuri noticed this. She had to stop him, what should she do?

Without thinking properly, Gyuri slapped Heeseungs hand, making it red and causing the card to fall to the floor.

"Ow!" Heeseung winced and rubbed his hand

Gyuri handed her card to a stunned cashier and paid for her bag. "You almost scammed me there Lee."

Heeseung stared at the girl dumbfounded and picked up his card. "Friends pay for eachother things though...?"

"Friends pay for eachother meals. And cheap things. This bag is like $50, that's crazy."

Heeseung nod his head once he realised. "These types of things should be bought for birthdays then." He concluded.

Gyuri nod her head proudly. Gosh, her baby was growing up so fast. Lee was a quick learner.

They walked out of the store, leaving an astonished cashier watching after them.

Gyuris stomach rumbled once again.

"I tried to ignore it, but I can't pretend anymore. It's too much." Heeseung said, bring tension into the surrounding air.

Gyuri looked at the man confused. What was he saying? What was bothering him?

"Your stomach is so loud, it sounds like you've been starving for years. Seriously, let's go get some food."

They walked out of the mall and entered a small local resteraunt.

Gyuri had never been there before.

"Tadaa! This is my uncle's resteraunt, but no one knows. Keep it a secret, ok?" Heeseung winked

They walked inside and took a seat in the corner of the resteraunt.

"Heeseung! It's been so long. How's your mum?" An old man walked towards the two. "Oh, who's this lady?"

Gyuri awkwardly waved at the man and Heeseung smiled.

"This is Gyuri, my friend. She's really hungry, so I decided to show her the skills of the best cook in town."

Heeseungs uncles eyes were twinkling. He pointed at himself proudly. "Me?"

"No, the McDonald's employees. Ofcourse it's you!" He joked, making his uncle throw his head back in laughter.

Another customer entered the store and sat a good distance away from the duo.

"Well, I better see to the others than. Gyuri, order anything you like, it's on the house. To celebrate Heeseungs first friend!"

"I do have friends though." Heeseung muttered under his breath.

"To celebrate the first friend of Heeseungs that I have actually met then." His uncle smiled before moving on.

Gyuri eagerly scammed the menu and settled on soft tofu stew, while Heeseung chose the same.

The food came in no time, Gyuri happily took a photo of the two bowls of food and then uploaded it to her Instagram story.

"Let's eat!"

-

They sat, stomachs full and content. Heeseung, who had been eyeing the customer that had entered the store earlier, looked like he had realised something.

"Gyuri, maybe we should go now."

"Why? I was about to order Kimchi dumplings."

"Next time? I don't feel comfortable."

"Why is that? Did something happen-"

The door of the resteraunt was flung open wildly, causing the three customers to look at whoever had caused such a scene.

Gyuris eyes widened and her heart beat faster.

It was Soobin.

Soobin met the boy who had entered earlier. Gyuri now recognised him to be Beomgyu, her older brothers friend.

"There they are." Beomgyu pointed at the duo.

Soobins eyes followed the direction that Beomgyu was pointing at, and his eyes zeroed in on the two.

He stormed over to the table, dragged a chair and sat down.

Beomgyu did the same.

"Please help me uncle" Heeseung whispered a prayer. Sadly, his uncle was nowhere to be seen.

"This is the Lee Heeseung you're friends with?" Soobin asked Gyuri.

Gyuri meekly nod her head.

Soobin and Beomgyu turned to the boy, who was afraid for his safety and well-being at this point.

"It just so happens that we know him from our club activities." Soobin said, dropping the scary big brother act and putting a smile on his face. "How have you been? Staying away from those bullies?"

Heeseung smiled, obviously relieved that he wouldn't be beaten up today.

"Yeah, haven't seen them since highschool."

Gyuri was beyond confused at this point. How did she go from sharting in her pants out of fear to feeling extremely welcomed and content?

"Gyuri, Beomgyu and Soobin helped me endure the bullies from before. They helped me alot back in highschool."

Beomgyu laughed at slapped the boys back. "It was nothing, we were just being good seniors."

Heeseung shook his head in disapproval. "Don't say that! You guys really really helped me." He emphasised his words.

"Really? You can repay us by paying for our food then, I forgot my wallet." Beomgyu suggested, earning a flick on the forehead from Soobin.

Heeseung laughed and shook his head. "It's really good to see you guys again."

Gyuri watched the scene infront of her. Suddenly, Soobin turned to face her.

"And you missy. I thought you were running late for class the way you ran out of the house this morning." He turned to Beomgyu to complain. "Seriously, she didn't even eat breakfast. And now I find her hanging out with a boy."

Not ready to be humiliated or scolded Infront of Heeseung, Gyuri quickly collected her items and stood up.

"It's been nice meeting you all, I have to go now. I have an actual class to attend sooo..."

"Wait, I didn't finish my senten-" Soobin started

But Gyuri was already out the door and running away.
