"can I tell you something?"
The two were now at Gyuris house, splattered around in the girls room.
After a lot of convincing, Gyuri had finally managed to get Heeseung to come to her house comfortably.
It wasn't easy though. Heeseung had asked a million questions to the girl as they had made their way.
"Will Soobin be home? Will your parents be there? Will Soobin be mad? Will we be alone? Can we leave your door open?"
Back to the present moment, Heeseung sat on the floor, legs crossed and leaning into his palms for support.
"Go on."
Gyuri cringed at what she was about to say.
"The reason I trusted you enough to tell you my concerns isn't because we are friends."
This statement piqued Heeseungs interest. The boy leant forward, eager to hear what his friend would say next.
"It's because I had a dream last night. We were back in highschool and you told me to tell you everything. Well, more specifically, you said 'lets tell eachother everything'."
Heeseungs as most definately intrigued now.
"Can I tell you something?" He asked, ignoring Gyuri who was slapping the embarassment out of her face.
Gyuri nod her head.
"I had the same dream. It was after school and we were in the garden. No one else, just us."
Gyuri gasped, eyes wide open
It was kind of creepy.
"Do you think we have like a weird supernatural connectio-"
"This is getting weird." Gyuri interrupted. "Let's not talk about all that. It's a coincidence, thats all."
A mischievous smile crept its way onto Heeseungs face. "Are you perhaps...scared?"
Gyuri looked astonished. An air of confidence surrounded her as she straightened her back and collected herself.
"Do you even know who you're taking to? I'm Choi Gyuri, nothing scares me."
Heeseung snickered.
"What, you don't believe me? Fine, get out of my house. I have to study anyways."
Guru got up and pushed Heeseung out of her room
"Wait!" Heeseung protested on the stairs. "I was just kidding. I know you're not scared. It's more than that, you're probably... petrified." He joked.
Gyuri was having none of it. She pushed the boy down the stairs and directed him to the door.
Once he stood outside, Gyuri waved goodbye and left him out in the cold.
Heeseung stood there for a moment and processed what had just happened.
He, Lee Heeseung, of Enhypen, who was sought after by millions around the world and known by even more, had just been kicked out of his friends house.
Oh yes, this was most definately going to damage his pride.
The door opened again and Heeseung smirked, knowing that there was no way he could have possibly been kicked out for real.
"It's cold, make sure you go home safely." Gyuri quickly wrapped a scarf around the boys neck and slammed the door shut again.
Right, he was most definately kicked out. For real.
Meanwhile, Gyuri made her way back to the room after giving up her absolute favourite scarf, just so a boy she had reconnected with a weeks back could be warm.
"What the hell is wrong with me? And how dare he say I'm scared?"
Gyuri heard the door open and ran back downstairs, thinking she had left in unlocked, leading to Heeseung being able to enter the house again.
She was right, Heeseung was in her house again. But what she didn't expect was that Soobin was accompanying him
And he did NOT look happy.
-
They sat on the sofa in the living room, 5 metres apart from eachother.
Soobin sat threateningly on the coffee table Infront of them, glaring at Heeseung.
"Care to explain why he was leaving out house, JUST as I came back home?"
Gyuri stammered, not daring to look at Heeseung. "He was accompanying me while I studied."
"So why did he leave right before I came home? It looks suspicious." Soobin eyed the two.
Gyuri wasn't ready to tell anyone about the weird dream scenario, and how she felt 'insulted' when Heeseung said that she was scared when discussing their dreams, and how that was the reason Heeseung was leaving the house.
Heeseung didn't dare to speak at all, so it was up to Gyuri to make up an excuse.
"It's just a coincidence."
Soobin waved his hand at his sister playfully once he knew that Heeseung wasn't looking. "I trust you." He mouthed to her.
Gyuri caught on quickly and smiled, before concealing it with a grim expression.
"And you, Heeseung. Why are you wearing my sister's favourite scarf? The one that she saved up for for months? The one that she wouldn't even lend me when I was freezing to death?"
"Gosh, kill me now." Gyuri thought. She wasn't expecting to be embarassed like this. "He's gonna blackmail me later."
"B-because it was cold." Heeseung barely spoke above a whisper.
The two siblings looked at eachother, holding in the laughter that was threatening to burst out.
Soobin walked over to Heeseung and pat him on the back. "You're safe." He said, pulling the now relived boy up to his feet. "For now" he whispered into Heeseung's ear, making the younger boy feel petrified again.
The siblings walked Heeseung to the door and bid him farewell.
"Let's meet under better circumstances next time, shall we?" Soobin called out as Heeseung figure grew smaller and smaller into the distance.
"Why did you do that" Gyuri giggled once she was sure that her friend was gone.
"Gotta keep them scared so they don't try anything dumb." Soobin wiggled his eyebrows.
Gyuri hugged her brother. "Thankyou for trusting me." She smiled before she made her way back to her room, stack of books waiting to be studied by her.
HeeHeeHee
You gave me your favourite scarf?
The one you saved up to buy for months?
The one you didn't even give Soobin?
Great, now she had another problem on her hands.
