This was harder than she thought it would be.

No contact with Lee for a week, and Gyuri was already going crazy

The first few days were fine, Gyuri had busied herself with work and studies

The next day, she resorted to bullying Soobin all day, while also making time to talk to her parents whenever she could.

"When did Gyuri become so energetic? All she does is talk these days." Her father laughed after she told him about a unusually long movie she had watched

I don't know dad, maybe I became this way  because I can't be like this to Heeseung now that he's gone.

Gyuri knew that having Heeseung as her friend meant that she could tell him about anything and everything, but what was she supposed to do now that he was awol?

Gyuri was going mad.

And now a week later, she sat on the chair at her desk, which was really hard, making her underside sore.

What was worse was that Soobin was out with all his friends and her parents were out on a date.

Gyuri was caught up on all her school work, and didn't need to study seeing that the school term was almost over.

She had considered going to work for fun, but her plans were foiled once she found out that no one had called in sick and that they didn't need anymore help at the store.

There was literally nothing to do.

Scrolling on her phone seemed so unappealing, and there were no shows or movies that she wanted to watch. It all seemed so boring to her in the moment.

The girl walked to her bed and took off all the clothes that were preventing her from being comfortable and relaxed.

She lay on her bed and turned the heater on

As soon as her head hit the pilllow, the girl was transported to dreamland.

Heeseung and Gyuri were making their way down an empty street as the sun rose in the far distance.

Something felt off about the situation

No. Something felt off about Heeseung

"What's wrong?" The girl asked, placing her hand on his arm for moral support.

"I don't know. I feel like I can't do anything right. Like I'm a disappointment. Nothing is going they way I want it to right now."

The boy dragged in a long breath or air, clearly trying to stop tears from forming in his eyes.

"It's just so frustrating, I feel so helpless."

Gyuri decided to speak, seeing that she had the opportunity to.

"Would you like me to listen? Or would you like some advice."

Heeseung shook his head drowsily

"I want to see you."

And that's how she found herself running out of the house at around 11 in nothing but a hoodie and pyjama pants.

Gyuri knew that he would be at the company this late at night because Heeseung had revealed that before comebacks, the group would spend all night singing, dancing and practicing to make sure they were nothing short of perfect.

She eventually made her way to the building, by now it was half an hour to twelve.

The girl entered the lobby and was pleased to see that it was mostly empty, except for a few security guards roaming around.

Ok, maybe she should have thought this through a little more.

"Excuse me sir?" She went up to a guard. "I'm here to see my friend Heeseung, is there anyway you could call him down?"

"Nice try girl. Do you know how many fans try that trick? Go home before I kick you out."

This clearly wasn't working. She still chose to persist. "I'm being serious, I'm his friend! Why would I want to meet an idol when I look this crusty?" The girl pointed to her bedhead, pyjama pants and hoodie

The guard chuckled a bit, but didn't budge. "Let's get you out of here." He grabbed her arm and started to make his way to the exit.

"Oh! It's friends friend!" Gyuri heard a familiar voice and immedietly turned around.

"What are you on bro?" Jake spoke

"Nevermind, you won't get it. She's with us sir, you don't have to kick her out" Jay vouched for Gyuri as he entered the building with Jake.

The guard looked hesitant and still a little suspicious. Nevertheless, he let the girl go.

"It's good that you're here. Heeseung could use your company right now." Jay said, guiding the girl to the elevator past the guard.

"Oh, Gyuri? I forgot about you! Heeseungs been real emo lately, could you please help him?"

Gyuri already knew this and nod her head.

"We were out since we we're told to take ten. It's because of Heeseung though, I don't think he had any motivation or self confidence these days." Jake said, helping Jay sneak the girl into the practice room.

"There's about 6-ish minutes left, do your best!" The boys cheered on, pushing her into an empty practice room

The girl stood in the dimly lit room, which smelt real bad thanks to all the sweat the seven boys must have produced.

She sighted a lone figure lying down on the floor in the corner of the room, staring up at the ceiling with no thoughts in their head and went to lay down next to them.

"Gyuri?"
