LIX. RIDERS ON THE STORM

Madison had been walking throughout the empty hallways. The electricity crackled in the lights as the werewitch continued her search for more Ghost Riders.

She was beginning to grow nervous at the sudden disappearance of the creatures, afraid she hadn't bought Scott and the rest of the pack enough time to open a new rift.

Madison assumed that Theo and Liam had been taken, and she saw Isaac disappear only moments ago. She was alone.

Or so she thought.

Madison snapped her head down the hallway when she saw a pair of hands prying apart the elevator doors.

She watched cautiously with furrowed brows as she slowly approached the elevator.

Her worries sank when she saw Liam standing only a few feet away. He was still here, she wasn't alone.

Liam breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Madison, pulling her into a hug.

"Are you okay?" Madison asked worriedly, running a hand down Liam's face.

"Yeah—yeah. I'm okay," the beta assured.

Madison and Liam continued down the hallway, though there was something eerie about the location that she couldn't place.

It seemed her questions were answered when she noticed a new addition to the hospital—a list full of cities planted along the wall, a lost similar to what would be plastered in a train station.

Madison and Liam looked at each other worriedly as they watched the top sign turned blank, and seconds later, 'Beacon Hills' arrived as its first stop.

"What does that mean? Are we out of time?" Liam asked to Madison, and the werewitch swallowed.

"There's only one way to find out."

Madison and Liam had raced together back to the tunnels, in search of Scott, Lydia, and Malia. The werewitch could still smell their scents as they made their way to the Argent bunker.

Liam watched as the door to the bunker began to close, putting his hand in front of the door.

"Liam!" Scott said in surprise when he noticed the figure.

"There's something you need to see." Madison said worriedly, but Scott hadn't really listened.

"You're still here," he marveled.
