It was nearly the end of the first week of her stay in Polis. She has been adjusting very well. She still got a little homesick but not as bad as she thought it was gonna be. Finn and her were getting along well. They spent some time together in the castle and talked a lot at dinner. She still wasn't sure about her feelings towards him yet.
Becca and Abby were best friends. Everytime Clarke saw her mom, she was with Beeca. Titus was probably too busy running the kingdom to really spend a lot of time with Jake but they still spent time together. Raven had found a friend, her name was Luna. Clarke didn't know much about Luna but Raven would burst into her room and tell her how amazing she was.
Lexa was annoying as ever. They somehow kept running into each other. Clarke was just going about her day and then suddenly Lexa would pop up out of nowhere. She also learned that the silent treatment doesn't work on her because then she'll just keep talking.
Also, the strawberries and a single flower have been with her breakfast everyday with a note. It was cute. She hadn't mentioned anything to Finn about it because she knew it was him. He always asked about her breakfast and she thanked him.
They got called down to the dining hall to have a family breakfast because it was Finn's birthday tomorrow. He was turning eighteen. It was a big day, almost as big as his actual birthday. They would have a party until midnight and then celebrate his birthday until sunrise.
They ate breakfast. It was pretty boring, just like every other breakfast. The most interesting thing was that Lexa showed up on time and left with them. That was the first time ever that Lexa had sat through a whole meal. She either showed up really late or left early.
As the time passed, more people started to show up for the party. Finn had invited her on a walk around the castle gardens so they had time to talk together alone. Also, to get away from the people that were here for the party.
Clarke and Finn were walking on a path. "I actually got something for you." He said, putting his hand in his pocket. "I found it when I went into town and figured you would like it." He pulled out a small box and handed it to her. She took it and looked at it.
The box was black and velvet. "It's your birthday. I'm supposed to be the one getting you gifts." She told him. He laughed and shook his head. She opened the box and a silver necklace laid inside. An infinity symbol was on the chain. "It's beautiful, Finn."
She took it out of the box and looked at it. It was silver all around with a clip in the back. There was a gem in the infinity symbol. "Here, I'll put it on you."
She handed it to Finn and he moved behind her. She moved her hair out of the way and he put the necklace around her neck. She fixed the necklace so it was resting where she wanted it. He clipped it and let go. She turned around to look at Finn as she fixed her hair. He leaned in and kissed her cheek.

Clarke was back in her room. Most of the guests that were close to the king were here. Some of the others were coming when the party was happening. She had just gotten out of the shower and was in a towel, walking out of the bathroom.
She had finally put her clothes into her dresser and closet. Just as she opened her closet door, her main door opened. She whipped around and nearly dropped her towel. Raven walked in. Clarke sighed and fixed her towel.
"My god, Raven." She said as Raven shut her door. "Don't you know how to knock?" Raven smiled and shook her head.
Raven sat down on her bed and laid down, getting comfortable. "I'm here to make sure you look your best for the party." Raven told her. "Put clothes on so I can do your make-up." Clarke stuck her middle finger up at Raven. "That's not very princess-like."
