Clarke was in the library reading, early in the morning. She was sat at a small table in the back of the library. Lexa and her slept in different beds last night and she swore it affected her sleep. When laying in bed, she couldn't get comfortable and then once she was comfortable she couldn't stay asleep. All night, she was in and out of sleep so once the sun started to rise, she gave up trying to sleep.

She was reading The Iliad. She found it funny that the Greek world went to war over a very pretty woman. In her opinion, Helen should be with Paris because it was well known that she didn't wanna go with Menalus. Well, that is what she has gathered so far from what she has read so her opinion might change.

Greek mythology has never really been her thing but she wanted a slightly historial read but at the same time a little fantasy with the Gods. Plus everyone can't just read their favorite book type over and over again, it's healthy to step outside the comfort zone.

She just finished reading a paragraph and someone placed two small plates in front of her. She jumped a little since she was not expecting anyone. Looking up from her book, she saw Lexa sit down next to her. On the plates was a mug that was steaming and on the other plate was a croissant and a chocolate covered strawberry.

"I didn't know if you liked coffee so I got you tea." Lexa said as Clarke closed the book. Lexa pressed a kiss to her cheek. "You are up early."

She pushed her book to the side, pulling the two plates in front of her. "Thank you, and I like both, coffee and tea." Clarke said, picking up the cup, taking a sip. "And I couldn't go back to sleep."

Lexa picked her book and looked at it. "I didn't know you were that much of a book nerd. The Iliad?" Lexa flipped through the pages. Clarke rolled her eyes and took the book away from Lexa.

"And here I thought you were gonna be nice to me today." She said with a smile. Lexa laughed softly. "Also, how do you get chocolate strawberries this early in the morning?"

Lexa smiled and shrugged. "I have my ways." Clarke started to eat the croissant. There was some butter in the center when she bit in. "Good?" She hummed, nodding.

They talked quietly while Clarke ate and drank her tea. Luckily one was in the library with them so they didn't really have to worry about their noise level but they tried to keep it down.

Lexa picked up the strawberry and put the bigger side between her teeth. "Lex, we are in a library." Clarke said, realizing what she wanted to do.

"So?" Lexa asked, with the strawberry in her mouth. "Don't be a party pooper, princess."

She smiled and leaned in. She put her teeth on the strawberry. She took her time and made sure she didn't touch Lexa's lips. Once she was milimeters from Lexa's lips, she bit down slowly. Her hand went to Lexa's chin, to hold her still since she started to pull away slightly.

As she bit into the strawberry, juices got sent down Lexa's chin. She bit off her side and started to pull away. Lexa's eyes fluttered open and chewed her end of the strawberry.

"Not bad." Lexa said, swallowing. Clarke smiled, still chewing since she got more of the strawberry than Lexa. She started to wipe the juice off her chin with her pointer finger. When she wiped over Lexa's lips, her lips parted and took her finger into her mouth. Clarke gasped quietly, not expecting it.

Her tongue swirled around her finger causing her to hold back a moan. "Oh." Clarke whispered, pulling her finger out of her mouth. The whole time they kept eye contact. "Do I need to remind you that we are still in the library?" Lexa laughed and kissed her.

"I can only stay a little longer." Lexa told her, taking her hand. "Aden got rejected by Susan and he's depressed now." Her jaw dropped. "Well, he didn't ask her out but he hinted at liking her and it didn't go well."
