Bow and arrow lessons went pretty well. She hit the target more times than she hit the way so that's a good thing. Lexa kept her distance ever since what happened the first time. They would still touch and brush bodies. It was the most enjoyable archery lesson she ever had and will have. Who would have thought she would enjoy archery.

It was about three hours later, they missed lunch but they both didn't care. Clarke and Lexa were on the roof of the castle, looking out on the streets of Polis.

Clarke sat next to her with her head on her shoulder, leaning into her. Lexa was leaning back on her hands, also leaning into Clarke. "When did you get into drawing and art?" Lexa asked.

"Since I was born." Clarke told her. Lexa laughed. "I've always kind of had a talent for it." Lexa lifted her hand and started to rub her back. She smiled, relaxing into Lexa more. "It was my way of expressing myself because I used to suck with emotions." Lexa picked up her head, looking at her. "Yeah, surprise surprise, I'm a princess and not perfect."

"I never said you were perfect."

"Gee, thanks." Clarke said with a smile. Lexa laughed. "I'm not the prettiest princess of all the lands."

"You are the prettiest princess I know of." Lexa told her.

After that, they both went silent for a while. They both shifted until they were comfortable with each other.

"Are you excited to be ruling Polis, one day?" Clarke asked, once the silence got a little too uncomfortable. Lexa tilted her head to lean on her head.

"To be honest, no." Lexa said, sighing. "I mean I tell everyone that I wanna be the Queen because that is what I have to tell people." Lexa sat up straight and moved arm around Clarke. Clarke picked her head up and looked at Lexa. "I don't wanna be incharge. I don't wanna be Queen, I don't wanna lose my life to this stupid thing of me having to rule a city because my parents died." Lexa sighed. "I wanna live a normal life."

"I know what you mean." Clarke whispered. Lexa looked down at Clarke's hand and took it, interlocking their fingers. Clarke put her head back into the crook of Lexa's neck. She felt Lexa hesitate before leaning in and kissed her head.

They sat in silence for a while. Lexa was rubbing the back of her hand with her thumb. She listened to her breathing and enjoyed the feeling of Lexa next to her because she didn't know the next time this would happen or if it would ever happen again. Everything about this was perfect and she was going to enjoy every second of this.

"Hey Clarke." Lexa said softly. Clarke hummed but didn't move. "What the hell are we doing?"

"I don't know." She whispered. "I really don't know, Lex." She closed her eyes.

Lexa picked her head up and turned to face her, letting off her hand. Clarke slowly lifted her head to meet her eyes. Lexa placed a hand under her chin and stroked her jawline. "I don't know either." Lexa looked down at her lips. "All I know is that I'm insanely attracted to you."

Clarke leaned forward but stopped just before their lips touched. Lexa parted her lips and tilted her head, brushing their noses. She let out a soft sigh against her lips. "Lexa, I-" Lexa cut Clarke off with pressing her lips to her own.

Her lips were so warm and soft, it made her mind go blank. The kiss was slow but fiery with passion. The world became a blur around them. The only thing that was clear was Lexa and she felt like she needed every part of Lexa to keep her afloat.

Lexa moved her hand to her cheek as their lips moved together, slowly. Clarke cupped the back of Lexa's neck as she pushed into Lexa. Lexa pushed back at her and Clarke laid down on the roof with Lexa moving on top of her, settling between her legs. A hand was under Clarke's head for comfort against the roof and one on her hip. Meanwhile, Clarke's hands were all over Lexa, one hand was tangled in her brown hair and the other was slowly making its way up the back of Lexa's shirt.
