It was almost sundown. Clarke, Raven, Lexa and Luna were in Clarke's room getting ready for the party in Polis. Lexa was half dressed, she was in a white long sleeve shirt and pants. Luna didn't have to get dressed up since she wasn't Polis royalty so she just wore everyday clothes. Raven was having a crisis because her dress made her biceps look tiny and Clarke didn't want to wear the dress she needed to.
Early in the day, a woman came by and dropped off a dress for Clarke. She was against wearing it because the dress matched Finn's clothes.
Raven was standing in the mirror flexing. "Raven, your biceps look fine." Luna told Raven. "If anything the dress shows that you have been working out more." Raven shot a glare over her shoulder at Luna. "Rae! I'm not kidding!"
Lexa was sitting in a chair, watching Clarke try to convice herself to wear the dress. She tried it on and honestly, she didn't like how it looked on her. "Clarke, you know you don't have to wear the dress." Lexa said, getting up from her seat. "Wear whatever makes you feel confident." Clarke sighed as Lexa kissed her cheek.
"But I don't want him to be mad at me." Clarke said, truthfully. Lexa rubbed her back. "I want the least amount of drama for this party."
"I agree with Lexa." Raven said, doing her makeup. "Be the star of the party, don't blend in with Finn. Be hot." Clarke and Lexa both laughed.
Clarke gave into their reason and took off her dress with Lexa's help. She was putting the dress on her bed when Lexa came over holding a light blue dress. "You can never go wrong with this color." Clarke smiled and took the dress from Lexa. The dress was a simple evening dress. She took it from Lexa and put it on. Once it was on, Lexa zipped her up and she looked in the mirror.
She had never worn this dress before and that was the reason she brought it to Polis. She was going to save it for a special occasion but this felt like a special occasion. "I think you should wear it, you look amazing." Lexa said.
Raven and Luna looked at Clarke. "Wear it, Griff." Raven said. "If Finn has anything to say about it, I will personally blow him into space." Clarke laughed.
She decided she was going to wear the blue dress instead of the neutral color dress. Lexa also couldn't keep her eyes off her so that was a plus. Lexa was basically drooling over her. Raven and Clarke did their makeup and hair while Lexa finished getting dressed. Lexa looked as hot as ever, that isn't surprising though.
Clarke didn't want to go all out on her hair and makeup since it was going to be dark out but she still put a good amount on. Raven wrestled Luna around until Raven could put some makeup on her.
Raven handed Clarke the eyelash brush. "Lex, can I do your lashes?" Clarke asked. Lexa groaned. "Please?"
"Fine." Lexa said and Clarke's face lit up.
Lexa sat down in a chair and Clarke leaned over her, placing a hand on the arm of the chair to steady herself. "Look up." Lexa looked up towards the ceiling but her eyes kept drifting down to Clarke's cleavage. She will admit that she was trying to get Lexa to look at her boobs by doing extra movements. "Keep your eyes on the ceiling and not my boobs." Lexa's ears turned red and she stuttered out words. Clarke smiled at her.
Clarke finished with her eyelashes and kissed her cheek. "Stop eye fucking, we have five minutes until we need to go." Raven said, as Luna hugged Raven.
"I have to find my parents because they need to walk me out." Clarke said. Lexa got up from the chair. "I'll find you guys after the speech." Clarke told them. The three women nodded and Lexa gave her a quick kiss before she left.
She walked the hallways going to her parents's room. She was very nervous. She didn't know what Finn was going to say during the speech or what he was going to do. The whole population of Polis was most likey going to be there today. Her mother was also going to stress her out more. If Lexa hadn't given her a pep talk beforehand, she probably would have just skipped this whole thing due to nerves.
