The next morning was not much better. The only reason she fell asleep last night was because of how exhausted she was from crying. Raven stayed with her the whole night. She was grateful for that because Raven kept her under control. Clarke went through so many emotions last night. After she cried her eyes out for the first time, she got filled with angier. She said some not so nice things about Finn, her mother and Titus. She regretted the things she said about her mother but Finn and Titus not so much. Then after angier she just went silent for a while then started to cry again.
Clarke woke up feeling about the same. Her heart still ached. That's all she could really feel. She never would have thought the breakup would affect her this much.
Raven was laying in her bed, awake. Raven had been awake for about half an hour before Clarke did. "Good morning." Raven said, rubbing her back. Clarke didn't say anything, she just laid there on her stomach.
Maybe it was a good idea to break up the day before the wedding because she won't feel anything while marrying Finn. Numbness would be ideal.
"It's around eight in the morning." Raven said, softly. "We should get up soon." Clarke grumbled in response.
Raven let her lay in bed for ten more minutes before making her get up. Raven grabbed her by the ankles and dragged her out of bed because Clarke refused to move. Raven then picked her up and carried her to the bathroom. Clarke was just dead weight causing Raven to nearly drop her on her head. But Raven got her to the bathroom unharmed.
Raven put her down and turned on the bath. "I love you but I am not undressing you." Raven told her. "Just a quick bath because you have to meet your mother and Becca in twenty-ish minutes." Clarke nodded.
Once the bath was filled, Raven left and Clarke undressed then got in. She listened to Raven and only stayed in the bath for five minutes. The bath did help her not feel so shitty. She dried off, put on clothes and brushed her hair but that was it.
When Clarke came out of the bathroom, Raven was not in the room. She figured Raven went to her room to freshen up. Clarke put Lexa's necklace on and tucked it away.
Clarke was only alone for about five minutes before Raven came back down. Raven dragged her out of the room and walked her to the meeting place. Clarke dragged her feet the whole way. It wasn't too far away from her room. It was about a three minute walk.
Raven stopped in front of a door. She knocked and then opened it. The room was basically the same as the room where she had her 'spa day'. Abby and Becca were in there already but the room was empty besides them. There was also breakfast on the table.
Clarke put on a smile as her mother hugged her. "Where is Lexa?" Abby asked. That made the smile drop.
"She isn't feeling too good." Becca said. "She's resting now so she can attend the wedding." Abby nodded. Becca walked over to Clarke and gave her a hug.
"She's not actually sick, is she?" Clarke whispered to Becca. Becca nodded, telling her that she was correct. Clarke sighed as Becca pulled away.
Abby made them all sit down and start eating. Clarke forced herself to eat as Abby asked her all of these questions. Luckily, Abby was too excited for the wedding to notice Clarke's sadness. Raven would change the subject when Abby started to talk about Lexa.
She ate a slice of toast, a few pieces of fruit, two pieces of bacon and a quarter of a pancake. Raven put the pancake on her plate, forcing her to eat it. The food was great but she just didn't have an appetite.
Abby didn't let them eat for too long though. It was half an hour at most. Even though the actual wedding wasn't for another five hours, Abby was still stressed about time. But as soon as breakfast ended, a woman came in and sat her down in a chair. She didn't know what was happening until four women walked in. One started to do her hair. She had no say in the hair style.
