It was the morning of the next day. She would have slept much longer if the sun wasn't shining in her eyes. She groaned and put her arm over her eyes to block the light.
Clarke had no memory getting back into the castle but she was laying in her bed with Lexa. Well, Lexa was half way in the bed. The top half of her was hanging off the edge of the bed. She didn't know how she was still on the bed and not on the ground.
Clarke didn't know if she should wake Lexa up or to leave her be. If she woke her up, Lexa would definitely fall onto the floor. That would be a very funny sight to see.
She laid there a little longer before sitting up and stretched. She pulled the blankets off and grabbed Lexa's ankles. She dragged her back on the bed, deciding that letting Lexa fall onto the ground was a bad idea. Lexa somehow didn't wake up during that process. She covered Lexa back up with the blanket before kissing her head and getting out of bed.
Aftering using the bathroom and waking up a little, she grabbed paper and some charcoal. She laid back down on the bed and started to draw Lexa. This was the hundredth charcoal drawing of Lexa but she just loved drawing Lexa.
About half way through her drawing, Lexa started to wake up. Clarke put her drawing and charcoal on the nightstand and rolled onto her side to look at Lexa. As time went by, Clarke started to rub Lexa's back.
Lexa's breathing changed from steady and deep to more normal length. That told her that Lexa was indeed fake sleeping. Lexa was only pretending to be asleep because she wanted Clarke to keep rubbing her back.
Clarke took her hand off Lexa's back and rolled onto her back. Lexa grumbled. "I know you are awake, Lex." Clarke told her, smiling.
"No I am not." Lexa mumbled into the pillow. Lexa picked her head up and moved hair out of her face. "Now, I'm awake." Clarke threw a pillow at her, hitting her in the face. "That was just rude, princess." Clarke shifted closer to her and laid her head on her chest. Lexa kissed her head.
They laid there, silently. They were thinking the same thing. The wedding was tomorrow. She was going to married to Finn tomorrow and then she'd be returning to Arkadia as soon as possible. Lexa would be left alone in Polis. Neither of them had the heart to bring up that topic.
There was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" Clarke called as Lexa ran her finger's through her blonde hair.
"Finn has requested your presence in his room." A man's voice called. She didn't recognize the voice so she assumed he worked in the castle.
"I'll be there in ten minutes!" She called.
"I'll let him know."
They waited for a while before moving to make sure the man was gone. After he was, Clarke got out of bed ignoring Lexa's protest. She was basically ready for the day but she added the final touches. Clarke was about to walk out when Lexa spoke up.
"Tonight we should talk." Lexa told her. Clarke nodded, agreeing.

Clarke dragged herself to Finn's room. She took the long way and walked very slowly. She did not want to see him today, it was her last day of freedom before having to marry him.
The walk was about fifteen minutes, plus another five minutes of her standing outside his door because she didn't wanna go in. She forced herself to knock. It was like Finn was sitting by his door waiting for her because he opened right away.
"You requested my presence?" Clarke said.
"I want to have breakfast with you." Finn said, stepping to the side. Clarke entered his room. She was hit with the smell of body odor. Gross. That made her almost throw up on the spot.
