Clarke stayed in the room while everyone else left. Her mom stayed sitting. She knew she was going to get told off but she didn't know why. The only thing she could think of was the flower theme idea but she thought they loved it.

She nervously sat down next to her mother. She grabbed a pillow and put it in her lap. Abby looked at her and shook her head at her. Her heart was racing and she felt like she was shrinking in her own skin. The silence was killing her so she spoke up. "Is there something I can help you with?" Clarke asked, anxiously.

"There is something you can help me with." She said, crossing her legs. "You can tell me what is going on with you and Finn." Clarke gulped. She rubbed the back of her neck about to respond but got cut off. "You two are constantly arguing and awkward around each other."

She was debating if she should tell her about how she doesn't wanna marry Finn. "We are just going through a rough patch." She said with a forceful smile. Her mother didn't believe it.

"Clarke."

"If you want to know what the problem is, ask Finn because he's the one being the pissy one." Her mother looked taken back by her words.

"Don't blame this on him!"

"Well, you're blaming it on me!" Abby didn't look impressed. She got off the couch and started walking to the door.

"Clarke, you are marrying him, you need to fix the relationship."

Clarke spun around to look at her mom. "What if I never wanted to marry him in the first place." She snapped. "Have you ever thought about that?" Abby's jaw dropped from shock. And that was the moment she regretted her words.

"Of course you want to marry him! Don't lie, Clarke!" She said, as Clarke went towards the door again.

"Well, I'm sorry that I'm not head over heels in love with a boy that I met a few weeks ago!" With that she walked out of the room needing to cool off. She did not need to ruin things more with Finn and the whole wedding. She just started to walk around the castle.

Now, that she had just told her mother that she didn't wanna marry Finn, what the hell was gonna happen. There is no way the wedding will be cancelled. It is too late now.

She turned around a corner and bumped right into someone. Clarke grabbed onto whatever she could and her hand landed on something firm but at the same time slightly squishy and with her other hand, she grabbed onto their shoulder. Arms went around her, pulling her up and stopping her from falling.

"I didn't know princesses were so clumsy." Lexa whispered into her ear. She realized what part of Lexa's she was holding onto and she quickly let go. Lexa had a smug look on her face as Clarke became embarrassed.

"Uh, sorry." Clarke said, flustered.

"For what?" Lexa teased. Clarke struttered out a few words not wanting to say 'I'm sorry for grabbing your boob'. Lexa laughed. "I'm kidding, it's fine, Clarke." She let out a sigh of relief.

"You are a pain."

Lexa's hands moved from holding her to sliding down to her hips. They took a small step back from each other so they weren't nose to nose and could talk. Lexa looked into her eyes and scrunched her eyebrows together with concern. "You okay?" Lexa moved her hand to touch her cheek. "You look stressed."

Clarke shook her head, sighing. "Well, I just told my mom that I don't want to marry Finn." Lexa's eyes widened. "She told me to fix the relationship and I got mad because she was blaming it on me when it's not all my fault and in my opinion, Finn is the dick and I'm just on the other end of it. Like it's not my fault that I don't wanna marry him. Maybe if he wasn't a total bitch and I wasn't so into you, I would maybe, just maybe, I wouldn't mind marrying him but no." Clarke ranted, quickly. She was so caught up in her anger that she didn't realize what she said about Lexa but Lexa heard it. "But now I'm worried that my mom is gonna-"
