The morning after the party was awful. Her head was throbbing and she just felt awful. She knew for a fact the chocolate helped with the headache and the other hangover symptoms she had. She was very thankful for that. Clarke laid in bed just regretting everything for a good hour before breakfast was brought in. Once she got up, ate, showered and got dressed, she felt much better.
And of course, she got her chocolate strawberry with a note with her breakfast.
She went to Raven's room, just to check on her. Raven was still passed out in her bed. She seemed to be breathing so she closed the door, leaving her alone. Raven was gonna be grumpy from the hangover, so she was gonna avoid her as much as possible.
She didn't know what she wanted to do today. It was gonna be a relaxing day though. Hopefully, her mom didn't wanna go dress shopping or whatever today because that was the last thing she wanted to do. That'll be a tomorrow thing.
Clarke decided to go to the art room and grab some drawing supplies. She grabbed paper and charcoal. There were a few people in the room but they didn't notice her or they just didn't care enough to notice her. It was probably a little bit of both. But she did her best not to distrub them.
She left the castle and went to the field of grass where Finn and her had a date. The field was far enough from the castle so she had a good view to draw it. She got into a comfortable sitting position and started to draw the castle.
Now, drawing it, she only then realized how detailed the castle was. There were so many little things, like metal fencing, some of the windows and roof, all of the little nooks around the doors and bricks. She was gonna be here for a very long time if she was gonna draw everything, but since she was using charcoal she was just gonna do as much as she could.
About an hour passed. She was very happy with the drawing so far. The base was just done and now it was time to add the shadows and the darker parts. Her hands were covered in charcoal but that was expected.
She heard footsteps walking through the grass. The footsteps were light and soft. She looked up from her drawing and saw Lexa walking over with a blanket in hand. "I came to the rescue because I didn't want the princess to get her dress all dirty." Lexa said, laying it out on the grass. Lexa sat down on it and patted the spot next to her. Clarke put her drawing in her lap and looked at Lexa unamused. "You should know by now, I don't bite."
Clarke got up and sat down next to Lexa. "I know you did not come all the way out here just to give me a blanket." Clarke said, trying to brush off her hands in the grass. Lexa shrugged, leaning back on her hands, watching her. "Also, thank you for taking Raven back to her room." Lexa nodded, smiling.
Lexa's eyes traveled down to her lap where her drawing was. "I want to propose a truce." Lexa said, taking the drawing off her lap and looking at it. "This is really good." Clarke snatched the drawing back and put it on the other side of her, away from Lexa.
"This whole thing is one sided." Clarke said, looking at Lexa. "And you are the problem."
"Wake up princess, this isn't just one sided, you played a part in this too." Lexa's eyes flipped down to her lips but then went to Clarke's characol hands. Maybe Lexa looking at her lips was just her imagination. "But, for the truce, I'll turn down my annoying traits and then you have to be nice to me."
"Yeah because you are nice to me."
"I can think of many times I was nice to you." Lexa said. Clarke raised her eyebrows. "Just now, I brought you a blanket, last night, I carried your drunk self back to the castle, I've walked you down to breakfast and dinner, I brought you the necklace Finn gave you back that you love so much-"
