After what must have been hours, Clarke had woken up. She had a strange dream about Finn during her sleep but didn't remember it. But judging that it was about Finn, the dream was more of a nightmare then. The nap was wonderful, she felt more stable and ready for an actual conversation. She was still upset and emotional, of course but her head was clearer.
Clarke was half way on Lexa and half laying on the bed. Her legs were intertwined with Lexa's and her arms were wrapped tightly around her like she was Clarke's teddy bear. Lexa simply had an arm around her playing with her hair, mindlessly.
As she stirred, she heard soft whispering. It was Lexa and her father. Clarke buried her head farther into Lexa's neck. "Are you awake?" Lexa asked in a soft voice. Clarke nodded and hummed. Lexa gently patted her back. "Food will be here shortly." She nodded again.
Clarke went to kick the blanket off but Lexa grabbed the blanket, stopping her. She picked up her head and looked at Lexa, confused. "What-" She started but then realized that they were basically naked with her father in the room. "Oh nevermind." Lexa laughed softly as Clarke pulled the blankets up higher.
"After you guys eat, we are gonna have a talk." Jake said. "First, it'll just be Abby, Raven, you two and me." Clarke nodded. "Then we will regroup with everyone else." Jake kissed Clarke's head and patted Lexa's arm before getting up and leaving.
Once Jake left, Clarke kicked the blankets off them as she was getting a little warm. Lexa kissed her head. Clarke rolled off of Lexa and onto her back. "How are you feeling?" Lexa asked, shifting to roll onto her side.
Clarke shrugged. "I feel better. Not anywhere close to perfect but definitely better." Clarke said, quietly. Lexa nodded and brushed blonde hair out of her face. "I'm ready for an actual conversation now."
"I feel like we should talk." Lexa said, stroking her cheek. "Not now, but soon." Clarke nodded, agreeing.
They laid there until the food arrived. Clarke just talked about how she was feeling about the whole situation. Lexa listened and Clarke felt like a weight was lifted off her the more she talked.
The knock on the door interrupted them. "Enter." Clarke said, pulling the blankets back up to cover themselves. The door opened and Raven walked in with food.
"Wow, I thought you would sleep until tomorrow, Griff." Raven said, going over to the table. She put the tray down on the table. "I'm guessing you slept good."
"I feel a lot better." Clarke said, getting out of bed. Raven had already seen Clarke in barely an clothes so she didn't care plus Raven was busy with the tray of food. Clarke dug through her closet and found one of Lexa's big white tunics. She put it on and brushed her hair out. Clarke felt Lexa's eyes on her the whole time.
Lexa got out of bed and that's when Raven turned around. "I'll leave you two to-, oh sweet lord." Raven said, clapping a hand over her eyes. "I was not expecting that."
Lexa put clothes on quickly and then gave Raven permission to look again. "Thank you for dinner." Clarke said, hugging Raven. Raven kissed her cheek.
"No problem, I just wanted to see how you were holding up." Raven told her, pulling away from the hug. "I'll be across the hall with Luna if you need anything."
Raven went to leave but Clarke stopped her. "Can you two eat with us?" Clarke asked her. She wanted Raven and Luna there to lighten the mood. Raven turned around and nodded. She left the room and was gone for a second before coming back. Luna and Raven had their plates in her hands.
They sat down and started to eat. Raven started to crack jokes and things felt more normal. Luna and Lexa started to bicker about who's stronger. Raven kept adding fuel to the fire and Clarke was dying of laughter because how intense Lexa and Luna were being. It was nice to forget about the problems for a while.
