" where are you? I'm already at the lobby ." Phana said on the call to the other side.
" Okay. Bye." Phana hung up the call.
After hanging up the call phana roam his eyes around the area.
He was currently waiting for someone on the ground floor of the big star hotel . Phana was observing the few selective shops on the lobby. The shops were beautifuly decorated. The motive of opening these shops on the hotel lobby was to entertain the guests.
He was observing the shops but suddenly his eyes stoped at a certain little boy. The boy was holding a little broken toy car. The little boy was watching something with so much attention that Phana followed the little boys eyes.
The boy was watching a little boy who was on the arms of a man , probably his father. His father was feeding him cotton candy and his mother was wiping his mouth.
Phana thought that the little boy wants to eat candy.
Phana roamed his eyes again in search of the boy's parents but no one was paying attention to that little boy.
Phana took his steps towards the little boy. When Phana went near the little boy he saw that the clothes of the little boy was big for him and it was a little worn out. Phana knew by the little boy's appearance that he was not one of the childs of the hotel guests.
But when Phana saw the little boy's face clearly , he stopped on his spot. He had a feeling that he already saw this boy somewhere. But where? He couldn't remember it. He tried to force his brain but nothing came up .
" Hey little Birdy. Are you lost ?" Phana decided to start conversation with the little boy.
" No." The little boy simply replied without any emotion on his face.
Phana again started to think, where did he saw this face exactly.
The little boy just plainly ignored Phana and continued to watch the couple with the little boy.
" Do you want to eat cotton candy?" Phana thought the little boy was interested in the candy. So, he offered.
" No " this time the little boy turn his attention to phana while watching Phana carefully like he was judging him .
" Hey I'm not a child theft. Don't just look at me like that." Phana felt uncomfortable with the little boy's intense eyes.
" Who is this?" Suddenly someone questioned Phana from his behind.
" Oh Forth . Help me here with..." Phana didn't even finished his reply suddenly the little boy ran towards Forth and cling to Forth's leg.
" Daddy.. daddy.. daddy.." the little boy just chanted and tried to climb on Forth's body.
" What?" Phana's brain just exploded with questions.
Forth too was startled by the situation.
The little boy was crying while hugging his legs and calling him daddy.
Forth thought that this child maybe lost .
When Forth saw the desperation and tears on the little boy's eyes, something under him shattered.
He lean down and took the little boy in his arms.
The little boy placed his face on Forth's neck and inhale his scent.
Forth's collar of the shirt became wet with the little boy's tears.
The boy was mumbling something while crying. Forth couldn't able to understand fully but he caught some words like "Don't go " .. " scared" "Akira" " miss" " bad guys" .....
" What are you saying baby peanut? " Forth gently asked the little boy.
Phana was shocked seeing Forth's this side because Forth was never really good with kids.
" Akira scared Daddy" the little boy lift his face from Forth's neck.
" Akira miss daddy" the little boy said while sniffling.
" Who is Akira baby ducky?" Forth asked gently while wiping the baby's tears stained cheeks with his own hanky .
Forth didn't even know himself why the baby's tears were affecting him.
The little boy pointed his baby finger to himself.
The name Akira rung some Bell on Forth's brain suddenly.
Phana who was watching the duo from the starting suddenly gasped .
" You shitty Forth. You had a child and didn't even think important to tell me " Phana narrowed his eyes at Forth accusingly.
Forth just glared at him while sighing.
" Where did you find him ?" Forth questioned Phana.
" Just in here while waiting for you. I thought he lost his parents, so, I came here to talk to him . " Phana replied while observing Forth's reaction.
" Still , You shouldn't let your child roam in here freely without any bodyguard . " Phana still accused Forth.
" Where is your mother baby ducky?" Forth gently asked the little boy ignoring Phana's questioning stare.
" Working daddy" the little boy replied while kissing Forth's cheek and giggled adorably .
Suddenly a cleaning guy ran towards them.
" Sorry Sir, if he was disturbing you" the cleaning guy tried to take Akira from Forth's arm but Akira hugged Forth's neck more tightly and started crying again.
' I'm gonna lose my job today' the cleaning guy thought in his mind.
" Akira don't be stubborn. Come here" the cleaning guy ordered Akira because Akira was not leaving Forth.
" Is he your son?" Forth coldly asked the cleaning guy.
" No, he is my colleague's son" the cleaning guy shook mentaly at Forth's cold words.
"Tell him that he was a really shitty father who can't even take care of his own child" Forth coldly ordered.
The cleaning guy just nodded his head furiously.
Forth tried to give Akira to the cleaning guy but Akira hold Forth's cloth more tightly and crying.
For the first time in his life Forth was feeling helpless with a child.
He was feeling some kind of attachment to the child.
" Don't go Daddy.. don't go ...bad guys will come... again " Akira was crying still holding Forth.
" Baby peanut , I'm not going anywhere. Go to your mama . Okay . Be a good boy like you are . We will meet soon . Okay baby ducky." Forth tried to negotiate with the little boy.
" I have work to do like your mama na ducky. We will meet again, promise my baby peanut " Forth further continued with his gentle voice .
Akira didn't want to leave Forth but he didn't want to disappoint Forth because Forth was calling him good boy .
Akira left Forth's arms but not before placing kiss on Forth's cheek.
" Sorry Sir for the inconveniences" the cleaning guy again apologized and left with Akira.
" Did he already left ?" Phana appeared again with a cotton candy in his hands.
Forth didn't even notice earlier that Phana was not there with them.
" Oh it was for that little guy. He was watching a boy eating a cotton candy. So, I bought it for him " Phana explained when he saw that Forth was looking at the cotton candy in his hand .
" Let's go . It was late already " with that Forth took his steps towards the private elevator.
Phana just sighed and followed Forth.
