Ch.26

" I think we should take the bus today. " Beam said to Kit seeing the stormy weather.

Kit nodded. Beam looked at the distracted Kit but didn't comment anything.

"I already gave him the medicine but his fever isn't going down" Kit concernly said.

" He will be okay soon. My baby is strong" Beam kissed on Akira's head tenderly.

They were about to reached the hotel's main gate, but suddenly stopped by a leaving car. The other cars following the first car also stopped in front of the gate.

Ming came out from the first car. Forth, Phana and Wayo also came out from their cars.

When they approach them , seeing Ming Kit tried to hide behind Beam. Beam noticed it but then he remembered Kit always tried to hide when there were people infront of them.

" Is he okay now?" Ming asked while touching Akira's head.

Beam was confused.

" I met him earlier he was running a fever" Ming explained seeing the confused Beam.

" Thank you for asking. He is better now" Beam tried to lie. He didn't want to be more pathetic infront of them.

Beam tried to hide Akira with his shawl.

But Forth held Beam's hand from preventing him from hiding Akira.

Forth lightly touched on Akira's forehead and neck.

Forth face harden because Beam lied to them about Akira's condition.

" Are you not going to see a doctor?" Forth questioned.

Beam didn't reply anything. He just starred at his foot and cradle Akira in his arm more tightly.

Forth sighed having no reply from Beam.

" Let's go " Forth commanded.

Beam jolted his head at Forth with a questioning starre.

" We are going to see a child doctor " Phana explained seeing Forth was getting angry.

" Thank you Sir for your kindness but it's okay " Beam thinly smiled at Phana.

Wayo was observing silently the whole situation.

"Mama ....warm " Akira tried to snuggle more in Beam's arm seeking more warmness.

Wayo observed that Beam was wearing a really  worn out sweater. It was not enough for this cold windy night.

" Get in the car. He will get more sick if he stays more in this cold." Forth impatiently ordered again.

Beam knew Forth was not asking him , he was stating his point.

" But ..." Beam tried to reason it out .

" He is coming with me. Don't worry" Ming didn't let Beam finished his point. Beam looked at Kit if he was okay. Kit nodded his head at him.

Forth opened the front door of his car to sit. Beam looked at Kit with a thin smile and get inside Forth's car. Forth himself took the driver's sit.

Phana and Wayo also got inside their car.

Seeing frozen Kit, Ming went near him and gently asked Kit to get inside the car. Hesitantly Kit sit inside the car beside Ming.

When Forth get inside his car he took off his overcoat and gently wrapped it around Beam.

Beam was stiff whole the time. He thought Forth hate him but why was he doing it. Beam knew Forth had a soft spot for Akira but Beam was feeling afraid. He couldn't bear it , not anymore if Forth decided to do something to show Beam his place again.

He didn't like it. Forth's present made his past memories came back at him .

They were silently ridding. But suddenly Akira woke up from his sleep.

" Mama.... Vroomm vroomm " Akira said when he realized that they were moving.
Akira slightly jumped excitedly.

" Ahh sorry... It's his first time ridding a car" Beam said concernly to Forth seeing Akira excited. Beam didn't want to anger Forth.

Then Akira noticed Forth inside the car. Akira became silent again and hide his face in Beam's chest.

Forth sighed again seeing Akira ignored him again.

Beam didn't know what to say in this situation.

Forth tried to touch Akira but Akira snuggled more in Beam's arm . Forth retreated his hands with a sigh.

' Remember Forth when I say that Akira felt familiar? Look at this. He is a carbon copy of your childhood ' Forth thought what Phana said him some days ago.

Everything about Beam's case was fishy. According to Phana Akira's paternity check with Forth was the last option. Forth wanted to do it earlier but he didn't had the guts. He didn't even know what he was expecting from this test.

Forth looked beside him . Beam and Akira was already sleeping. Forth smiled unconsciously seeing them sleeping cutely in each other's arm .

The cars stopped in front of the hospital owned by Forth's family.

Forth tried to adjust the scarf on Beam's neck properly but his hands stopped. He saw the marks on Beam's neck. ' sluts never change ' Forth thought Beam slept with someone. Forth angrily came out from his side. He opened the door for Beam and woke him up .

Forth took sleeping Akira from Beam's arm. Beam hesitantly gave him to Forth seeing Forth's sudden change of mode.

Beam silently followed Forth inside the hospital hugging Forth's overcoat on his body tightly. Beam literally wanted to cry there . Even Forth's scent reminded him of his dead lover. He hugged overcoat like it would protect him from everything.

Some times later Ming and Phana's car also reached the hospital.

When Forth and Beam was inside the doctor's room with Akira, Phana, Wayo , Ming and Kit was waiting for them inside a private sitting area.

Kit was awkwardly sitting with them.

Ming was checking something on his ipad.

"I'm Wayo" Wayo decided to introduce himself.

" Kit" Kit timidly replied.

" I'm P'Pha's fiance and Ming's cousin." Wayo introduced more.

Kit didn't know why Wayo was introducing himself. Because he thought himself as no one.

" Btw we met before" Wayo smiled.

" Really?" Kit was confused.

" When you decided to teach Ming a lesson at P'Pha's company" Wayo laughed.

Ming glared at Wayo . Phana just tried to hold his laugh.

" Oh.. sorry" Kit was embarrassed.

Pink dust started to kiss on Kit's cheeks.

Wayo teased Kit more seeing him embarrassed" Woww... You are really cute. Now I know why Ming....."

A magazine landed on wayo's face before Wayo finished his sentence.

" Jerk " Wayo muttered and throw the magazine back at Ming who was pretending to read something on his iPad.

Ming swiftly dodged the attack.

" Just ignore them" Phana said to Kit , who was sitting with his wide eyes.
