Ch.13

" Do You think I'm crazy?" Kit shouted at the police officer at the police station.

The police was telling him that he had to pay a ridiculously large amount of money to release Beam behind the bars.

" I will take this on court" Kit tried to threaten the officer.

" Go on . No one is stopping you" the officer flatly said.

" I'm serious" Kit argued.

" You don't want to pay the money and talking about taking this on court. You are a total dumb. Do you even know how much a lawyer cost and moreover do you even think any lawyer with a sane mind will come out to help you by going against Mr. Phana?" The officer laughed at Kit.

Kit shut his mouth at the loss of words. The officer was totally right.  IT would cost more money if they took this to court.

" Yeah. But there is a way . You have to beg Mr. Phana for withdrawing this case" with that the officer dismissed Kit.

Kit was thinking hard.
Kit knew Beam wouldn't like it if he begged Phana for his release.
But kit was going to try it. At least once.

Kit went to Phana's office after taking the address from the officer.

It was already morning. People were coming to office. When he asked at the reception, the lady told him that Phana hadn't arrived at the company yet.

The lady also told him that he couldn't meet him without an appointment. But Kit waited in the lobby.

When Phana arrived at the company, people started to greet him .

Kit never met Phana before . So he didn't know how he looked like. Kit asked the lady if he was Phana and the lady replied positively.

Kit ran towards Phana before Phana enter the elevator. Phana's guards tried to stop him but Phana told them it was okay.

When Kit saw Phana's face he unconsciously hide Akira's face with the shawl . Akira was sleeping in his baby carrier bag on Kit's chest while tugging his baby head on Kit's neck.

Kit thought he saw Phana somewhere but he can't remember it where.

When Kit requested Phana to withdraw the case , Phana sighed.

" I really want to help him. But it was for his own good if he can get out from there without my help " Phana felt sympathetic towards Kit.

" But I can lower the amount of the release charge.  " Phana offered.

Kit thanked Phana with sincerity.

Phana eyed the baby on Kit's arm and opened his mouth to say something but his was stopped by a voice.

" Are you cheating on Wayo Phi ?" A cold voice was directed towards phana.

'This voice.. please God..No ..not him please ' Kit prayed in his mind.

" I will never do that to Wayo. You know it already " Phana rolled his eyes at the accuser.

"Then you should observe the people you are surrounded by. There are many scammers and cheap whores roaming around these days to scam people you know " the man coldly stated.

Kit felt heat rose in his cheeks. Kit knew he was talking about him.

He just hugged Akira tightly.

" You are being paranoid again Ming" Wayo came to the scene while scolding Ming.

" You are not gonna say it Wayo once some cheap whore took advantage of you for money " Ming sharply countered Wayo.

" You can't just judge someone just because he is not rich like you " Kit couldn't keep his mouth shut.

Shock could be seen at the face of Wayo and Phana . where Ming just stare at him blankly.

Did he just replied to Ming like that. 'Please tell me he didn't just.... ' Wayo thought and prayed for Kit.

" Did I even say something about you? Wait do I even know you? Why are you so worked up over something not related to you?" Kit could hear the sarcasm on Ming's voice.

"I'm talking about scammers and cheap whores. You won't be offended unless you are one of them" Ming continued mockingly.

" You.." Kit didn't know how to counter Ming's reply.

Kit could see the satisfied smirked on Ming's face seeing Kit couldn't cut his words.

But Kit was not going to let Ming have his  satisfaction.

" At least I'm not the one who slept with cheap whores after giving them money. Isn't it pathetic? They can have all the things in the world with the money they have but can't even have someone who truly love them without their money. Wait.. I think their partners even cheat on them for some cheap whores because they can't satisfied them " Kit was saying whatever came to his mind.

But when he saw Ming's face, he knew he won this argument.

Wayo looked at Ming with concern .

But Phana was more worried about Kit.
Kit just hit something unspoken things from Ming's past.

Phana knew how far Ming could go to satisfied his arrogant ego.

" How dare you to insult me like that? Do you even know who am I? " Ming gritted his teeth.

" You are just another arrogant, selfish rice jerk, who only cares about money and power. " Kit finished with a satisfied smirked while leaving the place which had become crowded hearing their heated argument.

'Then let me show you how much arrogant, selfish and jerk I can be with the money and power I have ' Ming thought in his mind with determination.
