Ch .21

" Kit milkkkkkk" Beam shouted at Kit who was lost in his thoughts.

" Oppps " Kit turned off the gas abruptly.

Beam just sighed and started with his previous task. Beam was knitting a woolen sweater for Kit. He already knitted one for Akira.

Kit sat beside Beam and lay his head on Beam's lap. Kit even snuggled his face on Beam's tummy and closed his eyes to get some sleep.

Beam just smiled at Kit's action still knitting.

Kit became clingy after that incident . After Kit was released from the hospital Kit spent most of his times in Beam's room. Kit even slept with them regularly.

Beam didn't say anything because he knew Kit's scars maybe healed but the emotional scars were still there lingering in his mind. Like how Kit got scared easily nowadays, how he just got lost in his own world , etc etc .

Beam even loved it when Kit spent time with them. He felt like he was not alone. They became a small family. Beam even wanted to tell Kit to leave his apartment and moved his things into Beam's room. In that way Kit would be able to save the rent .

But he thought maybe Kit need Sometimes his own space.

The previous hospital they went for, called them back and even gave them a discount. Beam just thanked the God .

When Beam called the manager at the hotel to give Kit a leave, the manager granted it without further asking he even told Beam to stay with Kit. Beam was shocked with his boss's behaviour but he was really grateful. The boss even didn't cut their salary for absence.

Two months passed away like nothing happened. Beam still didn't ask Kit about that night. Beam knew Kit was not ready to talk about that night.

Kit was cleaning the floor at the lobby. Kit looked at the large clock at the wall. After an hour he could go home. He massaged his shoulders. It was really tiring to rub the floors all day.

A group of people went out from the private elevator. Kit didn't look at them while doing his work but suddenly he became stiff after hearing a voice. Kit started to shivering.

The voice belonged to Ming . Kit realized how stupid was it to insult Ming. Kit was nothing infront of Ming's power. But what Kit didn't know was that Ming was the owner of the hotel.

That day when Kit able to escaped from that private room the bar was because someone entered the room. He just heard "Sir Ming" before escaping.

Kit thought that he would lose the job because of Ming's power but that never happened. Maybe Ming already proved his point that's why he decided to leave Kit alone.

It was the first time Kit was seeing Ming at the hotel after 2months of that incident.

He just wanted to run and hide from Ming's eyes but Kit couldn't even take himself to take a step because of fear he was feeling.

Ming didn't even notice Kit and went out from the hotel with the group while talking about his upcoming projects.

Kit was so afraid of Ming after that incident. But Kit was really greatful that Ming didn't fire him with his complains. This hotel really paid more than other cleaning jobs.

Kit knew it was his step brother's 0 friends who kidnap him that night and threw him outside the moving car. Kit didn't hear anything from his step brother after that incident.

While working at the hotel or walking on street to go home Kit always felt that someone was watching him but Kit didn't feel any creepy vibes from it. Kit even felt a protective vibe from it. Kit didn't tell Beam about it because he knew Beam would be worried.

Kit knew he was imposing himself on Beam's life but Kit wanted to get selfish this time. Beam was like a brother at the same time Beam nurture him like a  mother .

For the first time in his life Kit found a real family with Akira and Beam.

Even though Kit was struggling to pay his debt, he was happy. Kit knew how Beam's debt collectors still harrass Beam but Beam never said it before Kit .

They even sometimes slept without food. It was become common for them .

Life was still hard for them but at least they were surviving together.

Kit finished his work and went to the rundown place they called home.

Kit looked at Beam's tired face. There was a wound on Beam's forehead and Beam was awfully silent.

After reaching home Kit put a bandage on the wound but didn't ask anything to Beam. Kit search in the kitchen cabinet for eat something but there were none.

Kit already gave all his money to the debt collectors and whatever he left with him , bought medicine for Beam. He had no money for food. Seeing Beam's condition he didn't think Beam had money with him .

He looked at Akira who was standing beside him while waiting patiently for food. When Kit shut the door of the cabinet Akira looked at Kit with his doe eyes. Kit cradled Akira in his arms to sleep. Akira didn't complain anything and put his head silently on Kit's shoulder.

Kit felt sad for the baby. He sometimes found it hard to believe how understanding Akira was for a child in his age.

Beam told him that he was orphan and Akira's father was the one who showed him what love is . Kit was shocked at first hearing that he gave birth to Akira. Kit knew about same sex couple, which was common but getting pregnant without operation or fertility pills was something new for him .

God was really cruel to made Akira fatherless.

Kit put the sleeping Akira on the mattress near Beam and laid down on the other side of Akira. Kit looked at Beam's sleeping face. Beam was frowning while sleeping. Maybe Beam was having some kind of nightmares.

Kit didn't wake Beam up because beam had to fight with his own nightmares. Kit knew if he wake Beam up now Beam wouldn't be able to sleep the whole night thinking about the nightmare. After sometime Beam stopped frowing.

Kit closed his eyes to without knowing what was waiting for them on the next day.
