Ch.31

  "You did what?" Phana was surprised to hear about Forth's deal with Beam. Actually it was not a deal . It was a threat.

" Don't you want to know your relationship with him and how he had Akira?" Phana tried to calm himself.

" Akira is more important than him. " Forth said while signing some papers.

" And you are saying this to me now? Just before when we are going to court to take away Akira from Beam. Seriously Forth? You are too Cruel. " Phana was shouting now.

" He will willingly give Akira to me ." Forth emotionlessly said.

Phana cursed in different languages in his mind.

" Let's go now " with that Forth went out from his office.

" The custody of the child goes to Mr. Forth Jaturapoom". The court gave Akira's custody to Forth on ground that Beam couldn't take care of him because of his financial status.

Beam couldn't even managed to get a lawyer. Beam was awfully silent whole the time. He didn't cry. He didn't even protest.

Beam gave Akira to Forth and for the last time kissed Akira's forehead and cheeks gently.

" Please don't let him sleep alone" Beam said slowly to Forth.

Beam didn't look at Forth. When Forth took Akira with him in his car, Beam starred at the car until it disappeared from his sight.

Phana just looked at Beam guilty. Phana knew Forth breaks Beam into uncountable pieces. Beam's eyes lost his life . Phana was afraid that Beam would take some dangerous steps that's why he told his man to kept an eye on Beam.

But what confused Phana more was that Akira didn't cry or protest while leaving Beam. Akira was sad but he waved his small  hand to good bye Beam.

Forth was still emotionless.

Beam went to the church after giving up on the custody of Akira. It was already night but he didn't want to go home. In their home everything would be reminded him of Akira.

Beam sat on the bench inside the church. Beam finally broke down inside the empty church. He didn't himself know what he will do without his baby son . Beam was practically just living for Akira.

He was ready to fight for Akira's custody but the whole week taught him a lesson why he should give up on Akira's custody.

When Beam  didn't able to pay the full amount to the debt collectors, they hurt Beam. They even hurt Akira and threatened to hurt Akira more if he couldn't pay the full amount next time. They threatened Beam that they would just sale Akira in the black market.

If Forth was his P' Tae then he would obviously take a good care of Akira. Beam was heartbroken that his P'Tae didn't remember him anymore.

Now he knew why Forth's hugs always reminded him of Tae . Because they were the same person. Beam didn't know how is this even possible but the paternity test was the clear evidence .

He wanted to hug Forth and say that how much he missed him but there was a clear hatred in Forth's eyes for Beam.

Beam's whole body was crying with pain. He didn't know what he did wrong in his past life that he had to suffer like this.

Beam even borrowed money from his co-worker to buy a last decent meal for his son . The co-worker was nice enough to give him money.

He always used to say Akira that Tae had gone to fight with the bad guys in the star. He told Akira that his daddy came back from his mission and it was his Mama's time to go the mission to fight the bad guys. He told Akira to be good with Forth. That's why Akira didn't protest because he thought Beam would come back to him soon like his daddy then they would live together.

Beam felt like his world is destroyed. He felt like someone ripped his heart out from his chest. Slowly slowly he was falling into a panic attack. He tried to come out from the black hole but he slowly fell into the darkness.

In the meantime Kit was worried about Beam at home. Beam was behaving abnormally from the last few days. Kit felt like he was avoiding kit.

Beam even took a day off without telling Kit why .

Kit had a bad feeling. He couldn't even close his eyes due to darkness and fear. He was so accustomed to slept with Akira and Beam that he could not even think of sleeping without them. The whole room was dark . He forgot to buy candles. He curled himself inside the blanket like the blanket will save him from the monsters hidding in the darkness.

" Uncle handsome" Akira ran towards Ming as soon as Ming step inside Forth's penthouse.

" Hello baby dumplings " Ming confusedly picked up Akira in his arms.

" What is he doing here phi ? " Ming questioned Forth who was signing on some documents while sitting on the couch.

" This is his home. Obviously he would be here" Forth said still looking at his documents.

"I mean ..." Ming said but stop because Akira was still with them.

" P' Jennie , please take him to sleep" Forth said to the nanny he arranged for Akira.

"So, what's happening here Phi ?" Ming said once the nanny took Akira from there.

Forth said the whole thing emotionlessly.

Ming was shocked to hear that. He knew Forth was merciless but it was to much to separate a child from his mother.

" Did P'Pha know?" Ming asked.

" Yeah and he is not talking with me ." Forth said flatly like it didn't bother him .

But Ming knew how much Phana's words were mattered to Forth.

There was a long silence.

" How about Beam? How is he ?" Ming suddenly asked.

" Why should I know about him ?" Forth replied back while closing his file.

"Phi , you already knew it how he is struggling with his life. He even thought you as his dead lover in your first meeting and in that case he was right because you are the real father of Akira. What if he was the one who gave birth to Akira? I know you don't remember anything about him but it would be cruel to separate him from his child which he carried 9 months inside him after the death of his lover. I know you don't swing that way but what if ? Because you don't remember anything. You really don't want to know how he got pregnant or had Akira? " Ming stopped his long speech with a frustrated sigh.

Forth was silent.

"I was abroad for a month. I didn't expect that the things would turn this way. Think about it Phi before its too late. I know you are not stupid. But do something before you lost something important to you. " With that Ming went out from Forth's penthouse.
