Ch.50

Kit was fiddling with his fingers nervously while eyeing the people awkwardly. He was feeling so out of place with the sea of these elite people. Men were wearing expensive suits and women were wearing expensive gorgeous dresses.

Now he realised why Wayo said him to wore a suit but he would have been more uncomfortable in a suit.

Kit knew his sweater was expensive but now he understood why Wayo wanted to buy something more fancy. Kit's sweater might be expensive according to Kit but Kit knew for these people it didn't count as something expensive.

After the queen kissed Wayo, she was called by someone special. The queen left from there. She didn't even take a glance towards Kit and Kit was thankful for it.

Wayo then introduced the other lady to Kit as his mother. The lady just calculatedly smiled at Kit and told Kit to enjoy the party. Kit felt like she was just saying it out of courtesy or for Wayo's sake.

But however, Kit politely thanked the lady.

Kit had many questions regarding Ming from the previous conversation of the ladies with Wayo but Kit didn't get the chance to ask . Because Wayo was surrounded by so many people that Kit felt suffocated. Wayo dragged Kit everywhere he went and while talking with the other guests. Wayo was blending with the people so perfectly that kit could tell that Wayo was doing it from many years.

From the interaction with the queen, Kit could guess that Wayo had a special relationship with the queen. Wayo even hugged the King. The King was busy talking with some important looking guest but he stopped to kiss Wayo's forehead before continuing his talking.

Wayo was so naturally roaming in the castle talking with people and sometimes giving the workers instructions like Wayo knew every corner of this castle. Every workers were doing their work as Wayo instructed like Wayo was their boss. All these things were really confusing for Kit.

" Hey , did you see Ming" Wayo asked a boy in a gentleman attire.

" I think, he is getting ready in his room" the boy replied.

" Let's go to Ming's room " Wayo again dragged Kit upstairs.

Kit's heart was beating violently. He had a bad feeling that something bad was going to happen.

' Why is P'Ming  having a room here? ' Kit confusedly thought.

'Ah he is Wayo's cousin. Maybe all the relatives have their own room. After all this is a Royal castle. ' Kit tried to resonate his own questions .

' But the queen said this party is for P'Ming ' Kit felt his headache was coming again from all these thinkings .

'Maybe I heard it wrong and I'm overthinking again.' Kit tried to give reasoning to his unanswered questions.

" What are you doing here?" A sharp voice stopped them in the middle of the stairs.

" Shit " Wayo cursed hearing Phana's voice.

Both of them looked at Phana who was glaring at Wayo.

" P' Pha" Wayo cutely greeted Phana seeing Phana angry.

" You come with me" Phana dragged Wayo with him somewhere.

Kit was just stood there, not knowing what to do .

Kit knew he couldn't go after Wayo because Phana looked angry.

Kit didn't even know where Ming's room was.

" Sir , this area is not open for the guest" A waiter said to Kit, while a scary looking bodyguard was eyeing Kit from head to toe.

" Ahh.. sorry. I .. I didn't know" Kit apologized and came down to the main venue again.

Kit decided to stand further in the room. Some people were even eyeing him curiously.

Kit felt more awkward with their stares.
Kit looked for Wayo but Wayo was long gone with Phana.

Now Kit was feeling scared among these strangers.

But soon people started to gather infront of the high plateform. Kit too followed the people to look at what happening here.

The King was standing on the plateform with his queen while saying something.
Suddenly the focused shifted from the King and Queen to the stairs. A person with a pure white royal suit but with modern touch coming down from the stairs.

People were murmuring among themselves at how stunning their future King looked.

Kit peaked in between two person to see the future King they were talking about.

But Kit's breath hitched at his throat. Kit was too mesmerized even to breathe. Ming was looking heavenly handsome with his white suit.  His handsome face looked so cold but people still found him charming enough. Like his coldness added spices to his handsomeness .

When Ming finally reached the floor people started to greeted him and wished him happy birthday.

Ming charmingly abled to reply to the people with his calm attitude. Ming was practically glowing with his natural aura .

' It's his birthday and I don't even know about it ' Kit sadly thought. But Kit was too drawn in his thinking that he couldn't able to see the real scene infront of him .

Kit came to the earth from his thoughts when a gorgeous lady wrapped her hand into Ming's arms . She looked like a goddess. Ming too held the lady's beautiful waist protectively.

' how can someone look so beautiful that it even seems unreal ' Kit thought but his mouth was feeling bitter seeing the girl holding Ming. Ming's storng hand on her waist  shattered something delicate inside Kit's chest. His chest was burning with a unknown fear .

The elegant lady was looking really powerful like she was not someone to mess with. Her curves were delicately showing the dress's its proper curves.

Then Ming went to the plateform with the lady. The King and the Queen hugged Ming and the lady. The queen even kissed Ming's forehead lovingly.

After that the King started to give his speech.

The more king's speech continued, the more Kit felt like the ground under his feet was slipping away. Kit held a table nearby to compose himself.

At last King said that he was giving his throne to his only son Ming on the special occasion of his birthday.

After that Kit heard nothing. His mind totally became blank. Kit just stood in a further corner in the room while holding the table tightly.

King proudly crowned Ming as the new King and handed over his throne.

People cheered and congratulated the new King.

After that the new King told the people to enjoy the night.

Kit felt his heart just break down again and this time he knew he couldn't get away from it.

Kit was shivering.

Kit knew he can't be someone special in Ming's life even if Ming was not the new King. Kit realised that Ming never confess his love to him . Kit was just too delusional to think that Ming cared for him .

Kit practically knew nothing about Ming and Kit realised it just now.

Kit's tears just escaped from his beautiful eyes. He couldn't control it. He felt that his breathing was becoming unstable. He didn't want to have a panic attack now among these people and Ming would be disappointed with him too if he created a scene in the party. Kit just wanted to go away from there but his body was not co-operating with him .

These all were just too much for Kit.
Kit felt his whole world was spinning around him and before his body hit the ground someone held him protectively.
