I woke up late this morning. Pablo wasn't next to me but I could smell pancakes and bacon.
When I sat up, I could feel the pounding sensation in my head.
I groaned as I began rubbing my temple. Slowly but surely getting out of bed, I walk into the bathroom take some medicine for my headache.
The smell of the bacon cooking on the pan immediately goes to my nose as I head down the stairs, closer and closer to the kitchen.
Pablo turns the stove off and begins placing the bacon on two plates. Then he begins adding pancakes and fruit.
I walk into the kitchen and watch as he carefully pours the syrup on the pancakes. A little bit of his tongue sticks out.
I can't help but smile as I watch him concentrate. Walking over to him, I walk behind him and place my hands in front of his eyes.
"Guess who?" I ask trying to hold in my laughter.
"Uhh my future wife?" he replies. My cheeks begin to become rosey.
He takes my hands away from my eyes and turns around to me. Placing a soft kiss on my lips.
"One day." I reply resting my head on his chest.
"How are you feeling?" Pablo asks. He begins stroking my head.
"Okay I guess. My head still hurts and I feel tired." I sigh and wrap my arms around his body.
"I'm sorry amor. We can just have a chill day. I don't have training today." He says and kisses my head.
"Thank you." I say quietly.
"Let's eat before the food gets cold." Pablo added.
We both grab our plates and walk over to the chairs placed in front of the island.
Both of us begin eating and making small talk. It was a very peaceful morning.
I get up and start to gather our dishes. "What are you doing?" Pablo asks curiously.
I look at him confused. "Uhh doing the dishes, why?" I ask.
"Amor you should get some rest. I'll take care of the cleaning." He responds with a soft smile.
"Thank you my love." I smile at him.
Pablo stands up and gives me a big hug. "Anytime. Go on the couch and get comfy. I'll join you when I'm done." He says and kisses my head.
I walk over to the living room and grab a blanket. Laying down on the couch, I reach for the remote and turn the tv on.
Clicking through, I find one of my favorite movies.
10 Things I Hate About You.
I mean yea it's a good rom-com but it's the way Kat and Patrick are reluctant to show their feelings. The way Patrick wanted to be with her without being payed. Kat's poem. Just everything about the movie.
I get comfy and begin watching the movie. Pablo comes over 10 minutes later joining me.
He lays on top of me and wraps his arms around my waist. I begin running my hands through his hair.
"What are you watching?" Pablo asks.
"10 things I hate about you. It's one of my favorites." I reply.
He hums. "What's is about?"
"You'll see." I say with a smile on my face.
I take a glimpse from time to time watching Pablo. The way he smiles and slightly laughs. His eyes watching the movie.
The screen begins to play Kat's poem. This part always makes me tear up.
I hate the way you talk to me, And the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car, I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind
I hate you so much it makes me sick, It even makes me rhyme.
I hate the way you're always right, I hate it when you lie
I hate it when you make me laugh, Even worse when you make me cry
I hate it when you're not around, And the fact that you didn't call
But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you, Not even close, Not even a little bit, Not even at all
I sniffle and Pablo looks at me. His chin resting on my chest.
"Anna are you crying?" He asks.
"Huh? Oh yea definitely not.." I reply.
Pablo holds my cheeks and stroke's them with his thumb.
I smile, not paying attention to the movie in the background.
"I love you so much." He says.
I crash my lips onto his. I can feel him smile and deepen the kiss.
We pull away and continue cuddling together.
Eventually falling asleep.Author's Note:
