29. I'm So Sorry

Flashback two months ago

We arrived at the beach.

Anna practically began running to get to the sand.

I began to laugh.

She turned around motioning for me to hurry.

She looked beautiful.

The way her brown hair flew with the slight breeze.

The setting sun shining behind her.

I slightly ran to be next to her.

We both sat down in the sand and watched the waves crash on the shore.

"God I just love the beach." Anna says.

I turn to look at her. She's still watching the waves.

I smile, "And whys that?"

"The way the sand feels between my toes. How the waves move along the shore. The beautiful sunrises and sunsets." she smiles and turns her head to look at me.

"I love you so much." I place my hand on her cheek.

We lean in and kiss each other on the lips.

I pull Anna closer to me and she rests her head on my shoulder.

Back To Present
The beach!!

She must be there.

I ran out of the apartment and quickly locked the door.

Then I got in the car and began to drive too the beach.

But of course there were like no fucking parking spots.

I found a parking spot but of course it wasn't right near the beach.

I opened the door and began sprinting to the beach.

People were calling my name trying to get pictures and autographs but I ignored them.

The only important thing was me finding Annalee.

I kept running.

When I got to the beach, I took my shoes off.

I searched the beach and saw a familiar figure.

Annalee.

She was wearing my hoodie.

The hoodie I gave her on one of dates we went on.

I made my way over to her and sat down.

She had dried mascara on her cheeks.
Her eyes were glossy and red.
Her face was emotionless.

I looked out at the waves, "Hey Anna."

She begins to open her mouth but doesn't say anything.

I continue, "Can we talk, please?"

She replies softly, "I-I don't know what to say."

I put my hand on her cheek and moved her face to face mine.

"You don't have too say anything. Please just listen. I fell in love with you the minute I saw you. And not gonna lie, I thought you and Pedri were together and I sorta became jealous. But something about watching you be so passionate about taking pictures made me fall in love with you even more. I miss everything about you. The way your eyes light up. Your beautiful smile. Your laugh. Your unconditional love for everyone in your life and the way you loved me. I miss the mornings I got to wake up with you right next to me. I just miss being with you. A-and I know I messed up. I should've listened too your side of the story. But instead I lashed out at you and broke up with you. I am so so sorry Anna. You don't have to accept my apology or even talk too me ever again. I just want you to know I'm sorry and I love you so so much."
