It's the last home game of the season. Busquets and Alba's last dance at home. Their home.
It's also the last game at Camp Nou until November 2024.

I'm truly gonna miss this
place for the time being.

Me and Mia make our way inside of Camp Nou.
Fan hanging around outside, taking pictures and videos.

"You ready for this?" Mia asks.

"I think so. How you feeling about Pedri not playing?" I ask.

"Sorta upset. I know he wants too be out on the pitch playing with everyone. Especially with Sergio and Jordi leaving."

We continue walking inside and begin making some content for instagram.

We split up, Mia takes videos inside the dressing room, while I begin taking pictures outside.

Couple hours later, the gates open, and everyone begins walking inside, scanning their tickets.

Everywhere you look, fans filling the once empty isles, all wearing barca jerseys and apparel.

The players begin coming out to warmup. Loud roars and cheers fill my ears, especially when Busquets and Jordi Alba come out onto the pitch.

I take some pictures of them warming up, and make my way towards Pedri and Arujo.

"Hey Pedro." I say, and smile at Arujo.

"Hey Anna."

"Just checking to see how you guys are doing." I say.

They both say good, but explain how they are little upset.

We continue to talk a little more, until I have too go to my designated area on the pitch.

The players begin walking out onto the pitch and the anthem begins playing.

My self and the eighty eight thousand people in Camp Nou sing our hearts out. I tear up, realizing I made it this far.

Tot el Camp

Som la gent

Ara estem d'acord
Estem d'acord

El sap tothom
BARÇA BARÇA BARÇA!

The song continues.

We all cheer loudly when everyone gets in positions and the ball is kicked.

In less than a minute, Ansu scores the opening goal, followed by an assist from Gavi.

At 10' you could hear;

Messi
Messi
Messi

I lock eyes with Mia who was on the other side of the pitch. She gave me the see-I-told-you look.

Balde was fouled, which turned into a red card.

We watched him lay on the ground in pain. The medics come running down the pitch too him. "Shit. This does not look good." I mumble too myself.

Kounde helps carry him until another medic steps in.

The game continues.

Lewandowski had a great touch, leading to Ansu's second goal at 24'.

You could tell he was hungry for the hattrick.

Halftime begins, and Barcelona is clearly in perfect shape.

We get closer and closer to the our last minutes standing on the old Camp Nou's soil.

Some fans were already crying.
Others were taking in the moment.

The whistle blows for the second half.

Barcelona close to scoring more goals, but it was either blocked, or shot over the crossbar.

It wasn't until 30 later that Gavi had the ball near the box.

My heart begins beating rapidly, watching him move the ball.

He kicks the ball, and it lands in the back of the net.

"VAMOSS!!" He yells and runs too the corner I was at, kissing the Barcelona badge on his jersey.

He points too me and smiles, I return the favor by blowing him a kiss.

My boyfriend was the last goal scorer at the Old Camp Nou.

I couldn't be more happy for him.

The part we were all dreading, everyone looks at the sub board, seeing Jordi Alba being subbed out for Marcos Alonso.

When he sees, he starts crying. The crowd begins clapping and cheering loudly for him.

The team giving him hugs and love.

I couldn't help but shed a few tears, knowing that he's leaving too help the club.

Then Sergio Busquets was subbed out for Eric Garcia.

Everyone clapped and cheered.
The team hugged and showered him with love just like how they did with Jordi.

The team continued playing until the final whistle was blown.

Barca won 3-0 at home.

The crowds started cheering loudly.

Jordi and Sergio came out onto the field, clapping and waving.

I ran over to Gavi, giving him a big hug.
"You did so good!!!!"

He had a big smile on his face. "Thank you amor."
And places a kiss on my forehead.

(play Auld Lang Syne by Ingrid Michaelson, wait until she begins singing)

Everyone moves closer to the sidelines.

Jordi and Sergio are presented with plates, marking their significant journeys with Barcelona.

Then a beautiful display is put out on the field of big jerseys.

It turns dark outside. All the players standing next to each other. Listening to the music and taking in the last final moments.

Gavi has his hand wrapped around my waist and mine around his back, and we slowly sway.

We watch the fireworks, tears streaming down both of our faces.

A video is played, showing all of the moments at Camp Nou.

Lots of them with Messi in it. Which makes it even sadder.

Everyone has their flashlights on, the stadium lighting up.

We reminisce the past.

One of the greatest football player in the world played on these grounds.

Made his debut, played his last game and left.

Now Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba are doing the same.

But they did it for the club. To help the financial dispute.

They've made an incredible legacy here.
They'll never be forgotten.

Now we must continue their legacy.
Share it with others. Make sure everyone knows them and the significant importance they had for this team.

Number 18; Jordi Alba.

Number 5; Our captain, Sergio Busquets.

Who knows what will be next for them.
But all we know is, nobody will be able to replace them.

Even though we'll be in a new place that won't be like our home, it'll always welcome them with open arms.

Because that's what Barcelona is.
This big family living under the same roof.

No matter where you come from, who you are (except a Madrid Fan). You'll feel apart of this family.

Even if you're far away.

Author's Note:
Genuinely crying.
This was so sad to make.
I'm so sorry I haven't posted in forever!
I just got done testing and I was writing a chapter but I didn't like it so I wrote this today!
