Shkya was getting really into detail with her story, like always, when I finally noticed movement in the dead lands of the dark fairies. It was a small group of dark fairies, out on their own patrol. I didn't bother asking Shkya if she saw them. There were three of them, all were guys. Shkya was starting to get angry with the story, as she always did, and started to speak louder and louder. Afraid they might hear her I shhed her and pointed to the group, then opened my mind to her. What's the plan? She asked in my mind eager for some action.

I studied the small group of my enemies, watching them walk to the border. They were trying to be sneaky, but they looked a little too relaxed. Looking down at the ground I found a nice little bush cover to hide in. I want to see what these three are going to do first, before I attack. I pointed to the bush and said in Shkya's mind, Meet me down in there. Let's see what they are up too. This might be fun. She smiled, shocked her head at me in amusement, then started to climb down. I swooped down into the lower trees so I wouldn't be seen. Crouching down in the bush I had the perfect down low vantage point.

After a few minutes Shkya has joined me in the vegitation. And the trio were walking to the forest edge. They stopped sneaking as they got closer to the forest. Not only did they stop sneaking, they weren't flying, but they were armed. The guy on the left had swords and daggers, no other weapon. The throwing daggers were on both sides of his chest going all the way up to his collar bone and down to his waist, he had two swords and two daggers on his hips, and he had a two handed sword strapped to his back, all the blades were a shinny black. The one on the left was all bow and arrows. He had quivers on his hips, quivers strapped to his thighs which looked like short cross bow arrows, there was normal bow arrows also strapped to the bottom of his back and on his back. Slung across his shoulder was the cross bow and peeking behind his shoulder was his bow. The guy in the middle, who must be the leader of the three, he had a sword on his hip and he had other weapons I did not recognize. There was something small and shiny, but not sharp, strapped to both of his thighs, one his back peeking behind his shoulders were two other shiny, but not sharp things, one looked wider than the other. On his chest were round things that looked pointless to have, but were arranged like the throwing knives, but much more of them.

The three dark fairies stopped a few paces in front of the forest's edge. "Hello! Little fairies? I would like to speak to you!" The middle one with sandy blonde hair said. Shkya looked at me with a face that said, What do we do? I looked at her then looked back at the guys. Slowly I came out of my cover.

"Can I help you?" I said glaring at them.

The middle one took a few more steps forward. When I reached for my sword he stopped, raising his hands. "Look we don't want to fight and you don't either." He said looking around in the forest to see if I'm alone. Stay down. I send to Shkya.

"Then talk. What do you want?" I left my chin, still glaring at the three. The middle one smiled, "This is going to sound rediculious, but we have come to help you." He took a few more steps closer and his friends followed, all keeping their hands were I can see them. At the distance he was now I could see his eyes and make out his features, just as much as he could mine. His skin was a dark tan with a blueish tint, his smile showed his teeth which were sharp like dark fairies, like my teeth, his hair reached his eyes, and his eyes were all over green dark green. They were not blue or white. His smile dropped when he saw my eyes, in fact all their jaws dropped.

"Wha-?" The one with white hair, purpleish blue skin, and white eyes with the swords and daggers stamered.

"Your eyes..." The one with black hair, blue eyes, pale blue tinted skin with the bows and arrows said in what sounded like awe.

"You have a dark fairy eye." The middle one whispered pointing to one of his own eyes.

"Yes I do." I smiled showing my teeth. In my mind I could her Shkya laughing at their dumbstruck faces. "And you have green eyes." I pointed at him.

He smiled and looked down, "It's funny. See not all dark fairies have blue or white eyes, like my friends here. Some have red, black, darker blue, green, or even pearl." He said looking up at me, "But I didn't know fairies have two different eyes. Not only eye color, but type."

"They don't." I said then looked to the side. "Not even different color." I mumbled. When I looked back up they were moving closer again, I glared and they stopped.

"What do you want?" I ask.

The middle one sighed, "The forest is trembling, right? The magic is fading?" He asked looking.... Concern. He was actually concern, but I couldn't tell if it was about the forest or the eye thing.

"Yes. What about it? Did your kind do it?" I ask still glaring. Misty, they're up to something... Shkya said in my mind.

"No, it wasn't us. But they will invade. The other dark fairies. We," he gestured to his friends, "Want to help you save your forest." He finished smiling.

I stared at him blankly, my intimidating glare completely vanished. Before I knew it Shkya was standing next to me. "What kind of play is that? Playing with a fairy and her heart for her home? How dare you!" She ranted at the dark fairy, who looked as dumbstruck as me. The other two dark fairies looked at her too because it seemed as though she appeared out of thin air. She spat at they're feet. She always got protective over me when fairies treated me rudely. But I don't think he was being rude, they all looked like they really wanted to help.

I put my arm in front of the angry elf. Starring at the middle dark fairy I ask him, "You know what is happening to my home?" Shkya looked at me like I was crazy and the dark fairy looked at me with a slight smile, "Why it's the humans fault of course."
