days past where you and the Ghost Team had to lay low. You settled a little cooking with Johnny most nights making sure everyone was fed and happy. It started to grown on you this whole we settle down and just let life come not having to be scared to die at any given second. You felt normal for a change. Now you were sat at the stone you occupied most nights watching the stars move in the sky. The wind was cold having you wearing one of Johnny's jackets as the older was already in bed.  The crunching of leaves could be heard next to you making your head shoot in the direction. "sorry I wanted to avoid interrupting your thoughts" It was Garrick. Without saying a word you moved making space for him to lean against the rock. 

He noticed and sat down his legs close to his chest his arms wrapped around them. the opening and closing of his mouth interested you as he tried to find the right words interrupting himself from speaking up. Something was in his mind. "Whats wrong" You spoke up. A sign came from his figure before he started to shift uncomfortably. "I don't know, this whole thing just scares me. I just got into this task force, and now I already can't visit my family nor tell them that I am okay. I don't even know if they are okay it would kill me if something happened to them because of this." his hands shot up to his eyes trying to wipe away the tears that already started to build up. Trying to find the right words you opened your arms allowing him to move closer and accept the hug you offered. 

"I promise Kyle that they will be okay. I will talk to price tomorrow if we can visit them at a later time to get you away from here." It hurt you how messed up this situation was. Kyle has been here for a few weeks yet he had to go through this much stress. It breaks even the best soldier, especially if they have never experienced something like this. 

Kyle was young more a Rookie than a special operator. It reminded you of yourself when you first got into the line of work. 

"Thank you" He said softly having enjoyed the closure for the past few minutes. His hands loosened up around you and he got up wiping his cheeks one last time.  "I'm going to head inside its pretty cold only wearing a t-shirt" He awkwardly laughed making his way back inside. 

Right before you could focus on the sky again a few shots went off not far from you. It was by the Safe house. You jumped up grabbing the pistol from your belt running back to check up on the situation. "I told you your aim is shit Johnny" Ghost said amused. Both men standing over a body. "I just woke up Ghost if you could focus more on the situation that would be very helpful" Johnny was pissed looking around trying to find you. As his eyes landed on you he quickly made his way over hugging you tight. "What happened."  

"looks like someone get send from the devil himself to keep an eye on us. Johnny notify Price we need to move now" Ghost said barely answering your question. Johnny did as he was told rushing in to talk to Price who ran out only seconds after.

Chaos broke out as everyone tried to pack their bags as quick as possible. In the car it settled again. You were sat on the passengers seat Price's jacket thrown over to you. A small picture feel to the floor you picking it up. It showed Price and a small girl. "You're a father captain?" He looked over for a moment. "Oh no she is my niece. That picture is years old.  She is also in the military"  Gaz went to shift in his seat. "I met her right before I got here." His cheeks burning red. She was stunning the second he saw her. If he only had a little more time to get to know her. "I know what you are thinking about Kyle. Leave it." The captain spoke up. 

"oh c'mon Captain you should be happy that such somebody like Gaz has a little crush on your niece." You stated hitting his shoulder slightly. Only earning a sign in return. 

"I guess so"
