I heard the doorbell ring. Charlie was busy watching TV, Neal was putting the food out on the table as it was cooling down. I finally spoke to everyone and mum was plating my hair for work tomorrow. "Mum are you done plating my hair?"

"Yes, can you get the door?"

"Of course!" I went to the door. "Dad!? Long time no see!" I hugged him.

Neal came in. "Scott I-"

"Hey Neal."

"Scott! Your not-"

"Neal! Don't talk to my father like that!" I snapped.

Neal shut his mouth. "Don't make me beat you up." Dad clenched his fists.

"Would Santa really beat someone up?" Neal mocked.

"I will!" Dad shouted.

"Calm down Dad, YOU 2 NEAL!"

"So you still believe you Santa?" Neal asked.

"I don't know." Dad shrugged.

"What do you mean you don't know!" Charlie shouted. "of course you are! Dad, how could you say that!? THINK OF THE KIDS!!!"

"The only kid I'm thinking about is you." Dad spoke.

Neal stepped over. "Charlie listen..."

"No listen! You think you know who he is!" Charlie furiously shouted. "YOU DON'T!!!"

"Charlie...honey listen, your confused-"

This was the first time I shouted properly in 9 years. "No! He is not confused! You just think he's wrong because he is a child! Well listen to a 19 year old girl! (I was now 19) Dad is Santa and you just don't like the idea and you don't believe in elves, Santa or anything like that and your trying to ruin a poor little boy who has done nothing! Your making him depressed at such a young age! You just don't want to admit that!!! He is more certainly right! My Dad his Dad is Santa Claus and always will be until a certain time or something! So just listen to Charlie, he's the smartest child ever to be known!" I yelled.

Mum sighed. "Y/N...your just a 19 year old girl."

"See!?" Charlie shouted.

"Charlie! He is not Santa!" Neal firmly said.

"He is too Santa! We went to the North Pole together!" Charlie almost crying. "I-I saw it! The elves are really old even though they look like me, Bernard...Y/N's boyfriend to be exact" Everyone stared at me and I acted like I didn't know at all but my red face gave it away. "What?" I said and let Charlie carry on. "Bernard called me sport' cause he knew everything. Right? Dad." Charlie stared at dad with plead in his eyes. "Remember?" He tossed the snow globe Bernard gave him to dad.

Dad looked at it for a moment. His eyes lit up. He then looked at me and my brother and grinned and hugged us. "Thank you guys so much." We hugged him back into a tight hug. "Can you give us a minute? I mean...so we can say goodbye to Charlie?"

Mum and Neal looked at each other. Neal shook his head and mum didn't budge. Neal then stormed off and mum followed.

"You saw the ball come to life!" Charlie exclaimed.

"You bet I did!" Dad smiled.

I smirked. "I told you! The older sister always is right!"

Dd looked at the snow globe then sighed in a disappointed way. "Well, we better should go."

"I'll get my stuff!"

"Wait sport' wait wait wait." Dad quickly said. "It's for the best."

"Why not? Y/N can go!"

"Because I'm an elf buddy." I took my hat off.

"I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!" Charlie exclaimed.

I then heard a familiar sound of bells.

I looked in the dining room and saw Bernard at the table eating a turkey. "Boy, this bird is dry. Haven't you people heard of blasting?"

Charlie's eyes lit up once again. "Bernard!"

Bernard smiled and got off the chair, his coat over his shoulder. "Hiya Sport' Hiya Santa, Hiya sn- Y/N!!! Y/N!!!" He soon corrected himself. I chuckled.

"Bernard, please can I go? Please Bernard." Charlie begged.

"Please B."

"Its ok with me." He walked over to us. "Take my hand."

Charlie cheered and took Bernard's hand, dad took Charlie's hand and I took Bernard's hand. intertwining our fingers. Bernard and I blushed as we both stared at our hands. "1, 2 and-"

"Before we go!" Dad shouted.

"Yes?" Bernard sighed.

"I'll talk to you later about Charlie said about you and Y/N."

Charlie grinned a cheeky grin. I just facepalmed and Bernard gulped. "Yes sir..."

"Oh dad!"

Dad rolled his eyes.

Bernard carried on. "1, 2 and 3!"

We then reappeared in the workshop.

I forgot how much I missed this place.

"Welcome back Santa." Bernard said to dad.

My favourite parts about the North Pole was seeing my family happy.

I was sat down on a bench and Bernard came over. "Hey Snowflake."

"Hey Darling." I smiled

"And how are you?"

"Tired." I said. "I've been to excited about being here and worried I'll wake up soon."

"Oh Y/N, I get what you mean, this place is quite different from the real world."

I placed my head on his shoulder and held his hand. "I'm also excited for when I get my first job as an elf!" I smiled.

"I'm gonna get a hot cocoa, want one?"

"Yeah please."

Bernard came back with his hot cocoa in the mug I got him. "You can also tell the elves are rushing their work as its close to Christmas."

"Are they?" I took a sip of my drink. "There all so good at it."

Bernard smiled. "I'm just glad that your here." I smiled too. "I love you"

"I love you too."
