Mia took her hands off my back and I stood there looking at 2 figures stood with their backs to me.

"Are you joking?" I said under my breath "You set us up on blind dates?! Are you fucking crazy? We're both in relationships." She chuckled.

"Oi!" I was mad at her. If I wasn't I would have laughed at her British shout. I watched as the two boys turned around and my heart immediately started pounding in my chest. "Surprise Pops." I looked at her as they started walking closer.

What was happening?

Why were they here?

I watched his face get lit up by the streetlight, confirming it was him. I ran to him, wrapping my arms around his neck and jumping up at him within a few seconds that seemed to drag forever.

"Hi baby." He held me tightly but I couldn't speak. I wrapped my legs around him and he chuckled. I could hear Blake and Mia talking and laughing but the entire world was blurry right now. All the chaos of London faded into blackness. It was just me and him. "Seph are you okay you're not breathing?" I let out a deep sigh that came out staggered with the tears. I nodded into him, tightening my grip around him.

Everything I'd been thinking about up until this point. The intense sadness, the pain I'd been feeling for almost a month, all the tears I'd cried silently. Every single thing was meaningless. This feeling right here, the intense warming of my heart reminded me it was all worth it.

"I missed you so fucking much." I managed to whisper into him. My voice was still shaky as I slowly lifted my head to look at him. "You cut you're hair."

"Yeah I wanted to look my best for you." He smiled and I planted a strong kiss down onto his lips. He tasted just as sweet as the day he left me in the airport, when Mia had to pull me away. "I missed you too sweetheart. Did you get my flowers?" I nodded. "Do you like them?" I nodded again and his smiled made London's city lights look like they were slow burning candles and he was the sun.

"I need to talk to you." I said as I was hit with a sudden wave that all of this could be stolen from me again.

"Now?" I nodded. He looked at Mia who walked over and rubbed my back before taking Blake's hand and walking into the pub slightly further down the street. "Are you okay?"

"I am now you're here. But I wasn't." He was looking around for somewhere to sit and I turned, pointing to a little park behind us. We could probably sit on the grass in there if needed. It hadn't rained in a week. A whole record for the UK. He started walking and I stayed silent, watching as he watched his steps but didn't put me down. Like he had months ago back at the beach house.

He eventually sat on a bench and I moved so I was sat on his lap with both my legs together on one side of him.

"Okay." He moved my hair out my face and wiped the remanence of mascara from my cheeks. I leaned forward and kissed him again, making him smile. That was my favourite thing in the whole world. Over taking cheer, or the gym, or running by miles. "So you've not been okay?"

"Not really." I sighed and looked at him. "Me and Mia told my parents about the whole Will thing when I got here. They kept asking why I looked so much happier and healthier. So we told them."

"I'm guessing it didn't go down well?"

"I mean, no." I let out a short sharp breath as a tiny laugh "They want me to move back here. Like go home pack in a week and move back."

"What?" I nodded.

"I'm trying to get them to let me stay but until today it was at the point where they were selling both the houses and if I wanted to stay I'd have to finance the whole college thing myself." He was smiling. "Why are you smiling this is really serious."

"You've got a British accent." I sighed and he chuckled. "I can't tell if it's because I haven't seen you in 3 weeks or if its the accent but your literally stealing my breathe right now."

"Em-"

"I know. I know. Sorry. We can talk about how beautiful you are in a second." I felt the blush creeping up my cheeks and I didn't feel as worried about this whole thing again. "Go on."

"So they are thinking about selling the houses and if I refuse to come back to the UK with them then I'm basically out on my own."

"Because of Will?"

"Because they don't think I'm safe there."

"But I'm there."

"Okay so here's the next thing. My dad wants to come home to meet you. And if he deems you safe then he will persuade my mum to let me stay in the US."

"Ooft." He sat back slightly. "That's a lot riding on me meeting your dad."

"I've already convinced him most of the way. I just need you to be your sweet self. He'll be fine once he sees you and he'll see what I see and it will be fine. He liked Will and well-" I nodded my head to the side slightly.

"Okay." He nodded.

"What?"

"Okay, I'll meet your dad tomorrow and get them convinced that I'm not going to hurt you. Because I'm not."

"I know that. Mia knows that and between the 2 of us we have taken them from a firm and solid no to a perhaps." He nodded. "But I need to know one thing before we do."

"What's that?"

"Did you choose which college you're going to?" He looked at me and then the floor. God he's chosen the one further away hasn't he. If he has then I have no reason to stay.

"I think so."

"You think so?"

"Yeah." He nodded. "I want to stay with you. I don't want to move away because I can't do this shit again."
