We huddled together as the game began.

"Okay that was great. How you holding up Pops?" Mia and the girls looked at me and I nodded.

"I'm fine." I looked behind me to the girl sitting in the crowd. "She keeps watching me. I've told Sonny to keep his phone off him and I'm going to speak to her after the game. She won't be able to talk to him until after." The girls nodded and we all stood back up.

"He's not happy you chose this uniform instead of the longer one. I can see it in how he's watching you." I looked at him as he passed the basket ball to Sonny and stared at me. I shrugged.

"He brought all this on himself." We shook our pompoms as Sonny put the ball through the hoop. Putting on huge bright smiles to keep the energy levels high in the room.

"He's looking again." I was facing the crowd and Mia was watching the game.

"Where's he looking?"

"Your arse." I laughed, throwing my head back I pulled the skirt up slightly. "He did not like that." I laughed harder, shaking my head as she giggled. "He is 100% coming over here at half time. You know that right?"

"Oh no. The boys won't let him." I turned, standing beside her and laying my head on her shoulder. "They want him to suffer more than me. Sonny is fuming about Ashley."

The boys moved into the changing rooms and the crowds started to filter out.

"Okay I'm going in." I bumped my hip into Mia, walking up to the stands. "Ashley!" She spun her head round and looked at me, eyes wide. I waved her over, and she started back down the stairs slowly dodging through the crowd. She was pretty. Definitely his type, just like me.

"Hey. Poppy isn't it?"

"It is. How are you?"

"I'm good how are you?"

"I'm great! Thanks for asking." I smiled brightly and tilted my head. "Look, I'm going to cut to the chase because I've got to go set up the party, I just wanted to say no hard feelings on you being with Will. Just be careful. He's not the angel he seems."

"Oh. You know?"

"Honey, I've read all your texts."

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Go for it."

"When did you guys break up?"

"Oh we haven't. I am tonight though."

"You are still-" Her eyes widened "He told me you broke up-"

"After Valentines. I know. I've read your texts. Just a prior warning. There's going to be a video coming out of the two of you. You can't see its you don't worry. Your back's to the camera and I won't be saying it's you either."

"How did you-"

"He accidentally face timed me last Saturday." I raised my eyebrows. "Keep him Ashley. I don't want him anymore. Just be careful. He's aggressive, controlling, narcissistic and abusive. He's not even that good in bed either is he?" She shook her head. "Anyway. That's all. Have a great night. Oh. He won't have his phone until after I've spoken to him either so don't try pre warning him."  I smiled sweetly and pushed myself so I took a few steps backwards. "Sonny said hi as well." I smirked at her and spun walking away.

Amelia put her arm around my waist as we walked back to our changing rooms to grab our things. We were changing at mine. The party was pretty much already set up. She'd come around early this morning to help me with it all so there wasn't a rush.

But now it was 6pm and people would be arriving in like 90 minutes. I still had to wipe all the glitter from our faces and put on the party makeup I'd planned. A style he never let me wear, dark red lipstick and dark winged liner. I couldn't wait.

"Are you all ready for tonight?" Mia asked the other girls as they all surrounded cheers of 'fuck yes' and 'can't wait's.

I was so lucky to have both the teams so open to me doing this to him. They'd seen me slowly getting deeper and deeper into his behaviour and how it was slowly getting worse too. They were starting to fear for my life as much as I was. They'd been saying for weeks that when I was ready they'd all have my back. Some of them offering beds to stay in to escape.

"Poppy?"

"Hm?"

"You good? You look like you're in your own world there."

"Oh no, I'm good." I shook my head and smiled. "I just really want it to all go to plan. I've been dreaming of this for nearly 2 months. One minor slip and it all collapses away from me. I can't take another second of him saying my name, looking at me like I'm his to touch. Having his hands on me makes me feel sick." I scrunched my face up at the thought.

"Come on then." Mia handed me my bag and pulled me. "See you in an hour girls. Don't be late." They all nodded and we left the changing rooms, quickly running down towards our cars.

"Poppy!" I turned my head and stopped for Sonny.

"Hey Sonny. Good game."

"Thanks. I thought you might want to delete you number and everything from his phone."

"Oh good shout." I took the phone from his hand and giggled "Ashley's text him. 'Be careful tonight. She said she knows about all of us. She looked a little psychotic.'" I burst into laughter and ignored it, going to our texts and deleting them from his phone, deleting my number and all the calls he'd made to me. I then went to his photos and deleted all the pictures he'd saved of me, completely swiping my existence from his phone. I locked it again and handed it back to Sonny. "See you at the party?" He nodded and smiled sweetly.

"Did you tell Ashley I said Hi?"

"I did. You should have seen how wide her eyes went. It was really funny."  He smirked at me slightly as Mia pulled on my arm "I really need to go. I'll see you soon."
