Finally arriving at my family's Marui, i walked in to see my mother and Tsireya talking near the entrance, my father standing on the other end fixing his spear.

clearing my throat to get their attention, my parents and sister noticed me standing there. "Father, Mother" i said nodding to them. "i've come to tell you of the incident that has happened tonight...Ao'nung being the cause" i hastily said, my father stopped what he was doing to listen, putting his head up but not looking at me. My mother and Tsireya waiting for me to continue.

"i was informed that earlier in the day, Ao'nung and his friends took one of the sully kids hunting...outside the reef" i started, i noticed Tsireya's eyes widened slightly, assuming it was because she already knew who i was talking about. i looked at my father to see him turn towards me, he didn't look mad but he definitely didn't look happy. "He hasn't been seen since then; Neyetam is telling his family now." i finished, putting my head down.

"where is your brother Y/n" My mothers tense voice broke the silence that filled our Marui. "he is with Neteyam." i answered. "so thats where Lo'ak has been, lost beyond the reef?" Tsireya asked, a hand over her chest looking at me with eyes full of hurt and betrayal from my brother's actions. i wished i didn't have to but i slowly nodded my head.

"call in a search party. I want them to search the whole island, and i want only our hunting crew to go beyond the reef to look for the boy." my father said walking up to me, a stone cold look on his face. "Notify our people of the lost boy, tell them if they see him to call it in immediately." he continued "do not disappoint me daughter, your brother has already done enough." he finished, pointing a finger at my chest, "yes sir" i nodded, and left without another word.

after i finished telling the island about the missing boy, everyone seemed to be on full alert.

i was standing by my mother when we heard the horn go off, "the boy has returned" someone yelled out. i looked up and saw jake sully on a skimwing, Lo'ak sitting behind him. i immediately felt myself relax a little knowing he was okay.

while Jake started checking him for injuries, i saw Neytiri come up from behind me and walk towards Lo'ak, Neteyam stood next to me before squatting down watching the scene in front of us.

"i prey for the strength that i will not pluck the eyeballs out of my youngest son" Neytiri said, bearing her teeth at Lo'ak.

"No, My son knows better then to take him outside the reef" my father said, grabbing Ao'nung's neck, forcing him to kneel down. "the blame is his" my father said strongly, looking at jake.

jake nodded his head, telling his family they were leaving, until Lo'ak spoke up. "No. this is not Ao'ning's fault" i looked over at him in shock. 'what is he doing?'

"this was my idea, Ao'nung tried to talk me out of it" he finished, i was completely lost for words, why was he taking the blame for something my brother did!?

Jake nodded again telling my father something before walking away, his family following. i turned to my parents and brother "Ao'nung, what were you thinking" my mother asked looking at my brother, i looked back towards to the forest family behind us and noticed Lo'ak walk away with his head down, Jake and Neytiri were talking to Neteyam, to which i assumed was about the situation, and probably how he wasn't keeping and eye out for Lo'ak, it happens to me all the time. after they finished talking, Jake and Neytiri walked away, Neteyam looked back at me, us making eye contact, i gave him a small smile and he returned it more sadly. i put my head down turning back towards my parents.
