•The Bond•Me, Tsireya, Ao'nung, Rotxo, and Neteyam hid behind large pieces of seaweed underwater, waiting for Lo'ak as he was about to prove to us that Payakan wasn't bad like the villagers say. we were all walking the shore when Ao'nung and Rotxo brought it up, so we decided to see for ourselves.
I got off of Turu grabbing onto one of the thick leaves to support myself. i was in between Neteyam and Tsireya when we saw Lo'ak and Payakan swim down in front of us, Payakan didn't know we were there so we stayed hidden.
Lo'ak was facing his front confused as to what he was expecting him to do. Payakan opened his mouth widely inviting Lo'ak in. unsure at first by the sudden gesture, Lo'ak soon decided to swam in, trusting him.
Neteyam looked over at me a worried look on my face as we watched Lo'ak swim into Payakans mouth. As he swam deeper we all noticed payakan slowly starting to close his mouth, trapping Lo'ak inside.
Neteyam immediately swam forward ready to go save his brother. I grabbed his arm stopping him from going any further, shaking my head as to tell him 'no', reassuring him a little. "he'll be fine...trust me" I signed to him. he seemed to relax a little from my touch, but still stay cautious just in case.
After a while of Lo'ak being inside Payakan i started to get a little worried. my worry soon died down when i saw Payakan swim to the surface and Lo'ak exit his mouth, grabbing the side of his head saying something to him.
i turned to look at Neteyam then Tsireya before we all swam up and broke the surface together. Tsireya was the first one to say something, asking Lo'ak what happened. before he could answer a familiar voice cut him, off clearing their throat.
we turned to see my father and mother on their skimwings with disappointed looks on their faces. my face dropped at the sight of my parents, already knowing how this was about to go...

My father lead the way to our Marui not saying a word, none of us daring to speak first. When we arrived, my mother walked in after everyone else.
"You allowed this." she said looking at Tsireya then me and Ao'nung. i was standing between him and Neteyam. "you allowed him to bond with the outcast" she continued, pointing a finger at Lo'ak.
Our father walked forward looking directly at Tsireya a dark scary look on his face. "Tsireya..." he said deeply, Tsireya took a deep breath a sad frown on her face as she listened. "you disappoint me daughter" he finished, turning his body to face me. Already knowing he was gonna say something to me, i put my head down.
"I expected better from you Y/n.." he said pointing a finger at me "you were supposed to look after your sister" he shook his head "you have failed me, Ma 'ite (daughter)" he said in a low tone that frightened me, he started to turn away from.
"Father i-" I tired saying "SILENCE!" he yelled looking back at me. i gasped quietly and put my head down, i could feel Neteyam's eyes on me but i refused to look over at him. My father turned toward Lo'ak.
"and you..son of a great warrior, who has been taught better" my father said to him motioning his hand in front of him. i heard foot steps and turned my head to see Jake and Neytiri walking up to our Marui.
"Payakan saved my life sir...You don't know him" Lo'ak said looking my father in the eye with his head titled slightly. my father nodded his head before letting out a small breath.
